I find it amusing that the 'eliminate a Dalish clan' option this time around is only available if you are Dalish yourself.
Tradition demands that I send Cullen on that mission in the future.

I'm playing an elf, well into the game and the operation 'Restore Order in Wycombe' comes up. I go with Cullen and send in the troops. My clan gets wiped out. All my people. My whole clan. Seriously? That's it? My whole *&^^%*$ clan and I get +30 influence and a briefly worded report from Cullen at the war table !? WTF Bioware?
Yeah. I got that. I reloaded because I couldn't face never discussing their fate. Especially since I was romancing Cullen and it would just be too immersion breaking for him and my Inquisitor never to acknowledge it. Not a good thing for the game to overlook.
Go with Leli's idea of infiltrating the town, then send in the troops.
It's not a Dragon Age game if you can't wipe out at least one Dalish clan.
I had that same reaction when I accidentally got the whole Grey Warden order wiped out somehow.
I cried really hard when I realized I accidentally killed Loghain.

You should have listened to your ambassador in Wycombe she tells you to use Leliana. If you reload, and redo it though use Cullen for the stop the purge mission after, pretty sure Josie gets your clan killed if you try to negotiate.

Were you told he died? I screwed up the Warden war table missions chain by not having Leli investigate the mining and after the trebuchets mission it said the warden allies were basically wiped out. I was worried I had killed off Alistair but in the epilogue it said the southern wardens were rebuilding and Alistair disappeared to Weisshaupt. So, Loghain may not be dead after all.
Not gonna lie I would think GETTING MY CLAN KILLED warrants immediate expulsion as my Military adviser.

Why stop at one? Let's go Gary Oldman on the Dalish.
The Maker wills it!
I understand that completely but to not have any Inquisitor reaction to this event nor being able to discuss it with your people is beyond ridiculous to me. You can't even have an Inquisitor reaction unless they have a convo with someone else so you can select how your quiz feels about things and your pov. So this is a bad move by Bioware story wise IMO. It's your own clan- it's not as if it's just some random group of people for which just a summary/mission report would be perfectly fine for.
Bioware is a company, they can't fit everything they want. Heck they STILL had to cut stuff to meet their deadline and this game had a lengthy dev time. Things will be cut or turned into something that is not as good as it should be.
