AHHHH!!!! I've been trying to live chat all day and I'm at work so I walked away for a 20 minute meeting came back and I actually connected and I wasn't there to respond so they closed at. MOTHER*********!!!!!

Called, got it set up. It works. Expect a 1-1.5 hour wait on phone, or a 30 min wait on chat. Chat is unreliable though, random D/C's,

It worked but they had me on hold for 80 mins yes 1 hour 20 mins but they did give me some extra stuff as a thank u at least the gut i was talking to did he is the man.

been on the phone for an hour and line just went completely dead, no music, no talking. but it still connected. Anyone else have this problem?

i had the same probelm yesterday, i was on hold for 40 minutes. there was a good 3 minute stretch with no sound, but u're still connected. good luck!

Well I appear to be having the same issues as everyone else, extremely confusing directions. The ONE time I try to do something online (ME2 was installing to my HD) and it's a clustermess. I'm trying to do everything I possibly can do before calling EA because I HATE talking to customer support...I hate explaining whats wrong, ect. I sent EA an email after the stupid chat "Cancled" about 4 or 5 times so hopefully I get word back from them that way.



This whole "promo code" BS has been epic fail, the easiest things to do would have been...



A.) The ability to "unlink" my 360 on my "other" EA account.



B.) Allow the downloads RIGHT from the dashboard.



How it became this complicated is beyond me.

I like how while I wait on hold that they tell me to go to the chat website rather then wait on the phone. Yeah, ok...how 'bout you make your "chat support" WORK...then I'll do that then wait on the damn phone.

I called them and waited for 1 hr+. It was worth the wait. He fixed my account linking and gave me the inferno armor for free for waiting. :D

I too used the wrong emails. A few suggested creating another XBL Silver account and using it's email as the same email I used for this Social account. It worked like they said-- logged in to my EA account via ME2 on Xbox, pressed cancel when asked to access Cerberus, the Terminus Armor and Weapon was in the New Content Available.

When I switched back to my main account, the Armor and Weapon was in the ship's equipment cabinet.

I'm just glad it finally worked out. No thanks to this over-complicated method!


Just wanted to confirm that this method works. Create a new Xbox Live account (I used the 1-month free Gold subscription that came with my Xbox, but I imagine Silver would work fine as well) and register it to the email you used for this stie (Bioware Social Network). When you load up Mass Effect 2 using this new XBL account, the Collector's Armor and Weapon should show up under the New Content Available. Download it, and when you're finished, switch over to your main XBL account. Load up your save file and the weapon/armor should be in their respective lockers. Saved me from having to wait several hours to get a call through.

Well, after 4 dropped chats (no agent available) when I hit my turn, and an hour on the phone so far, I'm going to try this and hope that it all works the way it said.
