Listen up, the thread said it all. Contacting EA is the only option ! They need to switch the content and link your gamertag to your new ea's account . I waited more than 1h and 30 min to have someone. But still he was gentel, polite and he resolved everything.

Those of you that got through are lucky. I tried to call on launch day, was on hold for 30 minutes and had to hang up. The next day, I waited on hold for 1h 23min and was hung up on without the rep even saying "Hello." I called right back, waited on hold for another 1h 30min, and the battery on my phone died, disconnecting the call. Honestly, I wish it was like Dragon Age where I could enter the codes in the game's menu and not have had to go through this. By the time that my issue is resolved, I'll most likely have spent 5 hours on the phone trying to fix it. It's especially frustrating when you consider that, when all is said and done, the download seems to get processed through the XBL Marketplace anyway.

Oh well, I loves me some Bioware and hope that I'll get everything resolved tomorrow. Being a call center rep myself, I really feel for these customer service reps for the terrible week that they must be having because of this.

Thank you GOD Almighty the EA chat is no joke they manually transferred my Inferno Amor to the correct account they are a true Godsend when you can finally get through waited 5+ 30 minute intervals but finally got through and if you get Gavin he's a real nice guy he helped me greatly

I waited on the phone for 47 mins and the line went dead. no hello no nothing. just crappy music then 10 mins of silence. plus 2 attempts at getting this done online (a total of 5 times now and 5 times I have been cancelled) all in all, If I had done this at my old job as a break down coordinator (Tech Support for company trucks) then we'd have been out of a job very quickly. and thats not even counting the 2 unanswered emails.

I used to run a Call Center for IBM Tech Support.

Quick question. When you call them up, how is it that you navigate to talk to somebody? Whenever I call, all I get is a list a game categories that are not mass effect, and when I push "other games" I get a prerecorded message about the chat. How do I talk to somebody?

Got through in only 30 minutes. Pretty lucky hu? I haven't checked my xbox yet, but he says heput the items in my account. Awesome. So if you haven't called yet people, the lines are getting shorter around now.

I finally got this tonight, it took a couple of tries waiting in line but i finally got through and they gave me a new code instead of linking my accounts.

Hang in there, it is fixable.

And to answer my own question the gun is worth the trouble.

i didnt use my ea account, then i did, but it said that the code was already redeemed and i couldn't use it again, even though i didn't get the message in-game. i'm screwed right?

Live chat finally worked for me, try doing it in the early morning times when they first open seems to work the best.  Shane fixed my issues

Just spent an hour with them on their CHAT and the **** who was handling my complaint ended the Chat session without a solution. I asked to speak to someone higher, and he kept on saying "bye"...goodbye. I said this was unacceptable and that I would like to chat with someone higher, but all he said was "bye" an the *** ended it. He was able to link my account to my gamertag, but I still didn't get the armor and rifle.,

I just spent 1 1/2 hours with them on a chat with someone who couldn't even explain to me why the content couldn't be found on my gamertag. What will a call to the SAME people do?

You're an angry one, huh? It's an honest suggestion, and it's harder to stonewall people on the phone. If it's that big of a deal to you, report them to the BBB. There's no need to be a **** when people are just being real with you...

Well, you're doing a fine job of being an **** to SDTV owners in the other threads... Nice of you to be a hypocrite.



As I stated, I spent most of my morning with EA.com support. Those you CALL are the same people who run the chat (I know how Right NOw chat works, we use it for our support center for our company) . CAlling them wont prevent them from hanging up.



Of course Im angry. Also it seems that alot of people are angry over this, as demonstrated by the many threads on the DLC issues. EA should have just posted the content to Xbox Live like everyone else does, and use Xbox Live redeem codes, instead of having to register at their site, and try to hope that the codes work.



I didn't spend $60 on this game asked for Dragon Age Origins for an Xmas present, to get the DLC content, only to not be able to get them.
