okay well i have my account linked to my XBL account and still didn't appear on my acitve dowloads now mind you i still haven't received my game yet from UPS, so im just trying to find out if it would appear on my active downloads or not.

hang with it i was on the phone for 1 hr and 45 min and they made it right and gave me a code for the inferno armor and the collecters edition content plus 2 codes one 20 off ea store purchase and another for 15 off ea store purchase. Just be patient i was actually on the phone twice as the first time I got cut off as they were going to issue the codes and had to call back and wait again but I am pleased now with the extras they threw in

I too used the wrong emails. A few suggested creating another XBL Silver account and using it's email as the same email I used for this Social account. It worked like they said-- logged in to my EA account via ME2 on Xbox, pressed cancel when asked to access Cerberus, the Terminus Armor and Weapon was in the New Content Available.



When I switched back to my main account, the Armor and Weapon was in the ship's equipment cabinet.



I'm just glad it finally worked out. No thanks to this over-complicated method!

I found a live chat! Rick is his name. He asked for my Gamertag and profile name, and now I'm waiting.


Edit: Success!  Remember, once you finally get a hold of somebody, be nice to them.  The CS reps don't like it any more than you do.

It didn't happen with DA:O because they allowed you to choose the e-mail you looged in with at th main menu.  Mass Effect 2 just assumes you used your gamer tag e-mail to redeem the codes which is a big fail on EA's part imo.

Well thats good for all the folks they did or will do this for, I tried to ask them to do that this morning (around 3am) and they refused...told me they couldn't do it.

I'm happy they changed their minds.

For PC or Xbox Live?

Either way, you have to make sure that the email you used (or EA account) to register those codes, match your gamertag (for XBL), or for PC, the login you use to play ME2

I'm waiting on the phone now. Been about 30 mins or so. I'm really hoping it will work. I tried to add my gamertag through my account on EA, but it said something about that name is already taken. I only have one EA account. So WTF??

This happened to me too. So now I'm waiting on hold. It's annoying. I have no idea how to fix it.
