So ive tried to use a couple of animated gifs as my photo/avatar, and while the animation shows up fine when i look at my profile it doesnt animate anywhere else...either at the top of this page or next ot any of my posts.
Is there a setting to adjust or is just the way the forums are?

I've tried the same thing before.
No luck.
I also haven't stumbled upon someone who has one, so it must not be possible on this site.
It's standard from the site now. The GIF will only show up as a GIF when looking in your profile. When in the forums, it will appear just as a normal image.
