Apperently, Denuvo has indeed been successfully cracked and a working DA:I crack has been implemented.

Great, now Bioware can remove Denuvo for us, their paying customers, right?

 

There's no need for Denuvo anymore and we can get the CPU cycles, wasted on constant encryption/decryption, back for better game performance.

 

Get patchin', Bioware. The Denuvo game is over.

I'll probably run the crack over my legally purchased inquisitors edition and free up some CPU cycles that are pointlessly wasted. Also take some stress off my SSD that's being worn out for no good reason.

It's almost one month after the release. Acheiving like that is a miracle. Piracy will exist and so too those pirates. Let them steal the game.

EDIT: I doubt we paying customers would be free of the DRM.

The SSD trashing is a myth and entirely false. I've tested with SSDReady myself and the HD/SSD write activity from DA:I is negligible to the point of irrelevance.

 

I'm not a fan of Denuvo due to the CPU load and because I generally like my games with as little crap attached as possible. But let's not perpetuate myths and lies.

 

Now that Denuvo/DA:I is compromised and that's over with, Bioware can remove it for us their paying customers. That's the only right thing to do.
