I'm still not entirely certain as to where this thread would best go, but...

 

I'm having trouble gathering power to help the Mages on Nightmare difficulty. I'm still in Haven, level 5, and so far, I have access to The Hinterlands and the Storm Coast. It seems like... a few of the quests that gave me power on Normal difficulty for my elven rogue only give me influence for my Nightmare playthrough. Is this because of the new patch, or is Nightmare a bit more fickle when it comes to getting power from quests? I know that Fade Rifts give power, but they are a <choice word here> to get through, and I'd love to hear of other ways to get power. I know that requisitions are an option, but the only one that I have right now is the Dwarven Puzzle Box. Where might I find more?

Note: I play on the PC. Not sure if this might change things up a bit, but I haven't had many problems before this. On the bright side... I get more dialogue from my companions than the last playthrough, and the cutscenes finally stopped skipping. So yay! If this thread needs to be moved, I don't mind.

All major areas have their own requisition quests, so you should have one for both Hinterlands and Storm Coast.
