More quests/things to do in Val Royeaux.  That's my number one area I want to see fleshed out in DLC or expansion.  For a big, glorious city, it was rather underwhelming and tiny with very little to actually do there.

 

I have to echo this - we are given all this hype and whoop-de-doo about Val Royeaux being this amazing huge city and we see, what, a side street and market? Guh.

 

Also we need some different armor appearances - what disappointed me and I could swear they were saying we could do was take any armor appearance we like, keep it and use it as we crafted. Instead, while I love that companions all have unique looks, our poor Inquisitor ends up with very few divergent appearances and the few that do exist are often race locked :\

I'm pretty sure it won't happen, but a dlc that explores what happens to Justice would be great. I'd love to see him appear in some way to help the Inquisition that also explores what happens to him after you either kill or free Anders in DA2.

Huh. This is a mindset that you don't see every day. Usually if DLC was talked about this early after release, people would be going nuts. Though, it is a lot different coming from a fan than a developer, lol. Maybe this game will get an expansion that is the exact opposite of Awakenings. We can hope, yo.

I can't remember where, but I'm absolutely positive that one of the devs stated somewhere that they will never do another full expansion like Origins: Awakening because it just took too much time and resources and didn't prove successful enough (although i quite enjoyed it for what it was).

 

DLC is probably more of a wait and see thing for them I'm guessing. I'm sure they've probably planned one or maybe two DLC's, but anymore than that I'm assuming is probably up in the air. These assumptions are based off how little DLC they made for DA2.

Maybe they can add some activities for the games such as mini games for singleplayer and multiplayer (horse racing, bow competition or sword competition, monster hunter with new monsters include, card board, or maybe even add something like your main character can interact to drink beer, ask friends to have a small celebration or even with your lover with have a long night. dancing, etc).
It would make the game more "meaningful" instead of more quests or missions and after that we still have nothing to do. 
Then they can release more things like hairs, comestic, clothes and some GIANT missions like a big expansion of DA: Awakening.
More interactions with your characters, more new side activities and side quests.

There are tons of things can do in the world of THEDAS. Just hope Bioware can see what we discuss in here. But I think maybe I shouldn't hope for more. They can use more ideals for DA4 (if there is, I truly hope there will be).

I agree Val Royeaux was one the biggest disappointments in DAI for me. We should have been able to walk through blocks and blocks of the city...instead we get to go to "the mall".
