Not sure if this is the right forum, might be more of a technical issue.
Completed the rituals, choose to ally with the elves, followed the guide.

The room's a dead end. Eventually went to Youtube, and figured out that there's supposed to be a hidden lever on the eastern wall, which you pull to open a hidden staircase. Its not there for me, when i search I don't get the pings you normally get when hidden objects are around.
I've reloaded back to the save point after agreeing to ally the elves 3-4 times and played through again, with the same results. No ping, no lever, dead end.
No mods or major tweaking of the game. Had a small tweak running that removed the limit on how far you can zoom out, but I'm still not finding the lever after closing the game and disabling it.
Chose to ally with Templars, if that matters.
