She seemed a little...angry most of the time, with good reason though. I kind of felt bad killing her in my darkside playthroughs.

Personally, I would love it we could captialize on her anger and use the situation that Quatra put her in to our advantage.

Least favorite companion in the Kotor universe.  What she represented was important for Revan to see early in his travels but her chracter is too annoying to empathize with.  I almost wanted to sell her to Xor I got so tired of her complaining but of course you can't, lol.

I love her, and i feel for the Cathar in general. I like how the Republic aim for equality, but fail desperately. She has a good reason for beeing the way she is, but i can see how it gets tiresome for some people.

She was actually one of my favorite companions in KOTOR. Right below Jolee and HK47(who has the best dialogue ever written by Bioware from a humor standpoint).

I wish we had the option to let her embrace the dark side. Too many light characters in KOTOR, it would have been nice to have a few more dark.

Juhani was my absolute favourite character in both KotOR games, one of my favourite characters in ANY game, ever, in fact. I loved everything about her, including the cute (if mildly perplexing) Russian accent.

The feral edge to her interaction with almost everything is a pleasurable change in a game where everyone tends to be high-tech minded, putting some real instinct into her motivations. (Zaalbar never seemed feral, just sort of shambled ineffectively about not really doing a great deal).

In many ways, Juhani's the most "believable" KotOR companion, taking time to trust the PC, but if treated right is the most loyal and reliable of the lot.

There are a couple of Mods out there (or were, at least) allowing Juhani to go Dark Side.

The one thing I always wanted to see was her getting her hackles up a bit over the fact that Canderous was on board the Ebon Hawk. Given her past, I don't think there's any way she'd have NOT reacted with a pretty high degree of aggression toward some filthy Mandalorian thug clumping about the same vessel. Even if she hadn't actually just cut him in half on sight, it would have been nice to have had some snarled dialogue about her opinion of Mandalorians. It's more or less impossible someone so instinctive could control her temper to the point of not bothering to even mention him.

Or maybe ignoring him completely was the worst insult she could bring to bear without recourse to physical violence, given Mandalorians' vastly inflated opinions of themselves.

There actually dialogue intended to let her talk about her distrust of Canderous, I believe, along with comments on the worlds being visited. From what I recall, Juhani was cut/in the process of being cut (it's said this is because of her lesbianism) and then hastily edited back in, with some of those dialogue triggers absent.

Pity about that...

I wonder if the dialogue can be found. I'll have to hunt about, see if I can find it. (Whilst turning KotOR's world geometry into Tilesets for NWN, I already found a couple of interior environments in the game files which I've never seen in-game, so there's lots of hidden treasures...)

I had vague plans for years to do some additions for Juhani, but got sidetracked by creating a series of Modules for NWN that follow on from events in both KotOR games and since Juhani was the main character in those, I did most of what I wanted to do with her there.

I really was never a fan of her, she is decent in combat but I was never too interested in her or her backstory. She is my least favorite companion on the group to be honest. That being said there are times she can sub in and help out depending on what clas your jedi is.

I killed her 'by mistake', so I never knew her. Funny too, that this might have subconsciously had me super careful about killing companion characters in all subsequent Bioware games.

I agree.  I do not play Darksiders, but this should have been an option, I think.

I like her.  She has her reasons for her attitude and plays a "reminder role" for the PC :)

Juhani has always been one of my favorite characters. I liked the fact that we actually got to see her struggle with her "darker side" and that she had legitimate reasons for her anger. I also liked the fact that she didn't go to the dark side at the end if the PC went that route (although I understand why people would want her to be able to).

I always liked her. I thought her VA did a great job with her lines - there was a real vulnerability in there that always made me feel for her, and get personality and feelings were quite complex.

I killed her because I find her the least interesting Jedi in your party, compared to Bastila and Bindo. Also because my Revan didn't believe in redemption, like Kreia.

I killed her so I can't say I know much about her. The one thing that I've always found amusing and kind of odd is that she is female so why is her name Juhani?

I think she is a waste of space and one of the most useless characters in the game. I rarely use her at all.

I know very little of lore (just movies), so I have to ask.  Is "Juhani" strictly a male name?

It is one version of the Name John, but this is not Earth, so it can be applied for males and females. Jolee is a female name but this is not Earth, so it can be unisex.

Juhani is a very common male name. "This is not Earth" is kind of poor argument, in my opinion. If Luke's name had been Mary don't you think people would have found that strange?

Interesting point.  Maybe Ben could have been named Lisa and Hans called Betty?  One name going against what the audience is used to stands out.  A handful changes things.

"Juhani", though...  Is this an "earth" male name, like in different cultures (I'm 100% American), or is it a common Star Wars Universe male name?  Sorry for being obtuse, but I'm curious.  I read "Juhani" and "Jolee" and did not think anything of them.  Heck, we had a teenage girl named "Mission" for goodness sake

Juhani is an eastern/Northern European name and translation back into English is John; so it is a Earth Male name

Cool!  That makes sense.  And Jolee is very close to Julie, I guess :)
