This is not the first time I played HOU. I reached ch2 some time ago with my level16 paladin from OC. But, besides that and multuple never finished playthrough through ch1, I didn't played much.

I'm currently playing with level 15 druid (female) and would love to hear tips and tricks. I'm in level 1 central area. My companions are Sharwyn and Deekin. I already meet Dealan and saved him, but I din't hire him. My weapons are scimitar, sling, sheald, and I could not decide whether or not to give Sharwin a armor. She is fighter/bard. She is equiped with bow and +3 greatsword. Should she be pure bard? What about deekin?

I'm not new to NWN series, but this game is bit hard and new.

Is it worth to keep Sharwyn as my ch1 henchmen? She has nice spot. Do I need to build up some skills? Are bows (slings, etc) useful in this campaign as they are in SOZ/NWN2?

Chat with me...

It's been ages since I played that expansion, so I can't really tell you any tricks, but if you have to decide whether you keep Sharwin or Deekin, keep Deekin! ;)

Oh, I'm keeping Deekin. My question was about other companions, such as Tomi, Linu and the other henchmen that you can recruit. And I ask about other henchmen, especially the ones in ch2.

Without getting too much into Spoilers, Deekin is the only henchmen you can have for all three chapters.  You'll also meet two more in Chapter 2 that you can bring into Chapter 3 and will meet a final one in Chapter 3.

A main trick is that you can use the Relic of the Reaper in Chapter 2 to set up a bind point at the merchant in Drearing's Deep (best prices from a mechant in the campaign) and another at the Isle of the Maker or Shaori's Fell.  This will allow you to complete every area without triggering the final part of Chapter 2 (which will happen once you approach certain parts of the main city after completing 3 out of the 5 areas).

Also, some items (special ammunition to be specific) often exceed the vendor purchasing cap in a stack but splitting allows you to get more gold.

Finally, saving some of the best items to vendor for Chapter 3 helps since the merchant buy cap goes up from 10k to 50k.

Bows aren't very good except as an AA, ranged weapons just kind of suck by default in NWN.

I decided to start this game again. Do you have suggestions for class? I love casters, so I choose druid to play with, but is this viable choice? Is good idea to play HOU with bard/fighter/rogue AND take Sharwyn AND Deekin with me?

The campaign is easy enough that anything will be viable.  Except maybe a wizard with 11 intelligence.  You can play as anything you want and take any companions you want.
