My biggest surprise was Sandal not in the game. Besides Flemmeth, I found him the most interesting character in the story. And the possibility of him being something much much more. It is really a shame they decided to cut him along with most semi-unique characters like Nathaniel, Zevran, Isabelle or the whole cast of Awakening.

Would be interesting to see them how they doing .

U kidding?! My Hawke only memorable sexperience was the 3some with her. Why not bring her to this geeky inquisitor who only walks in Pjs at home, a little excitement? U know....to make him a MAN. Besides Ironbull and Dorian I am pretty sure he is in dire need to learn some new moves:)))

Hahahaha now that is a DLC i would buy right away.

But on a serious note I really do not see the reason why we cannot see old characters again. Even if they just give you some of the fetch quests, has a huge amount to chose from, it would make the world more unique and personal. Could maybe give more connection for the old fans who appreciate it and maybe would give some of the Dragon Age atmosphere back that the game is kinda lacking now. And the new players do not need to know who they are besides that ahhhh, that is the drunken dwarf I am collecting the stupid alcohol for (e.g).

Zevran is busy elsewhere, if he's alive. You hear all about it via the war table.

 

I'd actually rather have some of the DA2 cast appear in DLC, since we already saw Zevran and Sandal in two different games.

You gotta remember this is a Franchise, so there will be more Dragon Aging. I'm sure this will not end with DA:I and so if they bring all the characters back in DA:I then it wouldn't be anything new to the next one to come out in 4 or 5 years from now.

 

I'm so glad Dagna is a part of the Skyhold because I always wondered what would become of a Dwarf taught in the Circle. Just from seeing Dagna and Hawke and Zeveran(wartable quest) that made me pretty excited wondering who will be in the Next one with me and Varric. What's become of Hawke? Are we going to be recreating the Grey Warden Legion? What of my Stone Golem Shale? There is lots of interesting things could happen in the DLC too.

Im actually surprised Shale was nowhere to be seen she was technically involved with mages namely Wynne and helping them out as they might be able to return her form, Sandal if he was ingame would've been related to red lyrium study and a cameo where we actually see dwarven magic in action(probably earth magic since its no longer around!).

 

I was also disappointed not many of the Awakening cast was seen even if they turned up as DA:MP characters as I went through a lot finding the perfect ending in that damn expansion dlc hell I was hoping the Architect would show up seeing theres another sentient darkspawn causing mass trouble out there and the fact red lyrium is blighted lyrium(proving lyrium itself is alive) kinda a let down there but what can ya expect they pushed the release date back like twice if I recall maybe three times.

I was expecting to see Sandal someone in DA:I, but I guess they got to much bad mail from parent groups about him having down syndrome, same with the tranquil, notice how they don't talk slow anymore.
