GOOD: The story, all the narrative of the game in general, and his impact in the game universe. I like a lot how Bioware develop an a story, and how easy they make it comes real, with so many details and side information, but mostly, even after this game, with so many clarifications about the history of Thedas, we only know a little fragment of it. Damn it, they still have 4-5 ways to choose from to continue the story (for a future game), Characters development was also brillant, way better than both, dragon age origins and also dragon age 2. I think that this is the strong resource of Bioware.

BAD: Actually 2 things, wich lead to the same problem:

- The combat in general is still poor on the games, what is even worse is the fact that they are going in the wrong direction for me. You can`t remove the attribute distribution from an a rpg game, that was an a BAAAD idea. You can reduce the number of active/sustained abilities to 8, we don`t need more than that actually, but you can`t claim that the game have over 200 skill to choose if 90% of them are pasives, and you add him base att. just to make them more usefull. IMHO it would be better to keep the pasives, without base att. on it, but give out 3 points for att distribution on level up, bonus from gear/crafting, should be that, just bonus. Also, if you manage to farm, craft and create builds, the game loose his dificulty even on nightmare, it becomes just annoying, they can keep giving 1 billon of hp to elites/bosses, but that doesn`t make it more hard, just more boring. That also lead to another problem, its ok if you 1 shot a party member with FF on higher levels, but its hilarius that, at the same time you hit for a fraction of enemy hp with and a aoe ability. It would be more realistic with higher armor/defense and higher attack/dps/better script to the enemy ai actually.

- The skills, the hitboxes, and the keymapping are bugged as hell. We can live with that yes, it would be fixed sonner or latter, but they had FOUR ****** years to test the game mechanics, how is even posible to have 30-35% of the skills bugged at this point?... where are the testing and quality check team?

The problem, imho is that bioware rush the game like idiots, they should take the time that the game requires to be finished and well tested. Fortunately, the game in general is good, wich means that in future games they have solved most of the problems, and it can only becomes better from now (i hope).

I like the environments, A LOT.

Don't like that there is NO STORAGE CHEST. I have both perks but never have any more than 10 spaces left, I just don't want to sell any of those nice purple uniques!!

Main fault for me is the controller designed controls+ui on pc. When they advertise it as a "pc game made by pc gamers" I expect the game to utilize what the kb+mouse have to offer.

Good: The characters were excellently  written, well, most were.

Bad: I felt like the story was short. I could have done with more missions, not just side quests.

GOOD: It took me a while to decide between charaters and the main story, but I'll say charaters are better. They are awesome, just awesome. The only flaw story has is that it feels a bit short. I was hoping for at least one more main-quest mission.

BAD: There are so many places and chances for grand battles, yet nothing happens, nothing AT ALL. I'm talking about Skyhold, fortresses Inquisition has taken etc. And the lame end battle-easiest one in the entire game. Meh.

GOOD: A lot of things, but the first thing that DAI manages to impress me is being the first in the series to have elves I actually like. I don't like Zevran in DAO - not dislike, just... don't like him. More so with Fenris. I don't actually hold any opinion for Merrill, she doesn't leave much of an impression on me. I don't like the dalish clan in DAO. DAI though, the first time I met Solas there was something about him that made me curious - he's a humble elf, way too humble, and "wah how the hell does he know to grab my hand and point it to the rift while everyone just runs around like headless chickens". Then Sera - while she's not exactly my Inquisitor's friend, I see where her viewpoint comes from and I like that she doesn't care about "elfy" things, unlike practically every other elf I've met.

In short, I guess the characterisation of the companions in DAI is done much better than the other game, because DA has always been about not judging everyone based on their stereotypes or where they come from. IB, Dorian and Vivienne helps to emphasise this idea.

BAD: the tactical camera. I use DAO tactical camera a lot, like, I almost never not use it. I was annoyed when I found out it was removed from DA2. But DAI's tactical camera doesn't allow me the freedom to actually plan anything. So I either use it and have to micromanage everyone or just ignore it altogether.

Actually... on higher difficulties, what I dislike the most are the tactics.

Good: Characters.  I love the companions.  I almost always do though.  Also the environments are pretty.

Bad: No access to abilities from radial menu.  I need more than 8 options.  What's the point of learning all those great mage-y spells if I can't use them???  It infuriates me.  Also I wish they'd level scaled.  I was level 21, when I suddenly realized the final main story quest was recommended level 16-19.  Boss fight was a joke.  Beating the game didn't feel like an accomplishment.

Good: Capturing enemy Keeps

Bad: The lack of enemy Keeps to capture. There's only 3 in the game but there's at least 1 enemy fort in each area.

The Good: Main Story (what there was of it) and Companions/Advisors/important NPCs (The writing is spectacular, as always). The Soundtrack was beautiful and the graphics looked really good (This is how I wanted Dragon Age to look graphically minus a few hiccups)

The Bad: Main Story was too short/not enough Main quests, Villain(s) didn't get near enough screentime to make us hate/love to hate them, not enough cameos (where the heck is Sandal?), too much focus on exploration and boring/repetitive side quests, Zones were too big (there should have been twice the number of zones, at half the size, with double the main story content each), Not enough actual cutscenes, tried way too hard to emulate Skyrim. Enemy Spawning/ReSpawning. Poor integration between story and exploration (DAO did this better IMO) War Table Operations. (They were boring and there was too many of them, even though some of the stories could have made some really interesting side quests instead). Game relies too heavily on "codex entries" for lack of a better word.

Liked: The companions. Of course it's what I love about every Dragon Age the most as well as Mass Effect. They're the ones that constantly put a smile on my face in this game.

Disliked: The most intense boss battles are exhausted well before the endgame. I criticized Mass Effect 2 for having an imbalance of difficult enemy battles, because it gave you the best (worst) early in the game while the end was pretty much easy as pie, and here it was far more in-your-face. No doubt word will spread of the Inquisition and how it beat up this poor old mage on a floating battlefield.

"The Inquisitor should pick on someone her own size!"
