The Good -
The advisors made it feel like I was running an actual group, and the War Missions had a realistic flavor to them. They also had clear and defined personalities
My choices having direct consequences
The epic feel of the Adamant Fortress mission
Talking to people and hearing about the help I gave them
The music was flavorful and rich
Engaging and rich supporting cast - From the gentle warmth of Mother Giselle to the hilarity of Bull's Chargers, to the nobility of Ser Barras and even Fiona's genuine regret.
The villains, for the most part, being treated as people who make bad decisions. Servis was just out for his paycheck, the Sahrnia mayor panicked in a crisis, Calpernia had noble intentions, even Samson was ensuring the Templars that were dying had all the painkillers they needed. But still keeping a real monster or two to remind us we're the good guys, like Denam or Eramound.
Florianne's boss fight - Part of me wants to make her my jester just to see what it would be like, but then I can't have that amazing fight or sentencing the box to community service.
Champions of the Just - That was a fun mission, and the Envy Demon was the cherry on top
The Bad -
The side-quests mostly consisted of "Show up here, right click, maybe bring an item"
The prestige class mission was incredibly tedious
Putting an Ocularam right next to a very high-levelled dragon when the Oasis itself is a low level place. And the damn thing is awake, no less
Dorian Pavus - The most cliched character in DA yet
Cullen lacking a sidequest like Leliana's quest in Valence or Josephine's House of Repose
Not having an option to punch Briala in the mouth - Seriously, I can't reconcile Celene and Gaspard, but kick out that witch?
The lack of King Alistair/Queen Anora. They needed more.
