And his answer is silence. I suppose that's what you get when you first try to make yourself a god, and then call out to the gods you tryed to put yourself above once you start losing.

That was really unexpected, either Corypheus was desperate or Dumat is lurking somewhere :P

It wasn't surprising, even Cory sounded like he didn't buy into it.

If you exist if you ever existed.

Those are his words.

Dumat obviously existed and talked to him before so...

Solas is kind of iffy on the god thing.

The Old Gods and the Elven gods clearly exist.

But it seems they were defied spirits or mages versus actual god-gods.

Which nicely goes along with the idea the Maker really IS all-powerful and good or doesn't exist.

Even Tevinter did not believe the Old Gods were their Creators. Your definition of "god" is not theirs.

I guess this does up the likelyhood of the maker existing.

I mean with all these gods around, I find it hard to believe that he would be the only one who doesn't.

Though we'll never know ofcourse.

Well, they believed they were massively powerful things which knew magic and looked like dragons.

So they had reason to believe as they did.

Wasn't Dumat killed by the first Wardens? I know Razikale is next in line.

Considering that's exactly what they are, for the Tevinter, they were gods.

Supposedly, at least. There are some who believe he is still active in the world somehow.

Corypheus is supposed to be "dead", meaning that he is dead for all intends and purposes, but his death was left sufficiently ambigious so that they can bring him back, if they ever feel the need.

Considering how godawful the last fight was, and how generally poorly Corypheus as a character was handled, I hope that BioWare feel the need, since otherwise they wasted a perfectly good villain on this farce.

Honestly the more I think about Corypheus and his role in DA:I, the more I start to hate DA:I as a game.
