The quest seems ok until I find the druffalo. After that I cannot find a way to return it to the farm. On both ways outside the ravine the druffalo does get stuck: going to the most immediate way has the animal stuck before the two Inquisition scouts with the chest (I'm thinking those two soldiers are somewhat interfering with the AI path) and in the opposite side the animal simply stops following my character a bit after the campfire with a corpse and a crow.

There is a way to solve the quest or it's bugged?

It has an issue going through that pond by your camp, go around it.

I cannot even reach the pond, I'm stuck not much after the point where the druffalo can be found.

 

I finally solved the quest. The two inquisition scouts seems were in fact blocking the druffalo. I returned after completing another quest, both the soldiers and the chest were gone, leaving the path open and I managed to return the animal to the farmer successfully.

it scared of any creatures...so kill anything you see along the path (including harmless nugs). It passed through the scouts fine when I completed the quest.  He only moved forward after killing the creatures we encounter.

Imagine you've got it on an elastic leash. If it gets stuck in the pond near camp, try running in a semi-circle around it or even standing behind it to unstick it.

 

I ended up taking it through the river at the first opportunity, up hill, through the pond (got stuck a LOT) and up the ramp to the right of camp, then all the long way 'round the outside of the paddock.

Just had the same problem with The Golden Halla.  It got stuck on a rock and I wound up teleporting off the map area and coming back to unstick it.

I tend to have this issue and I hate it's 'definite path'. It seems like the way you 'need to take the druffalo' is straight, down a hill, past the one fade portal, up the other hill, straight, a good distance past your camp (will not go by it), around some stupid walls (tends to get stuck at them or will get stupid near them), straight, and you should be there. It seems like if you you the route behind you (which is more logical because it's safer) it will get stuck which is dumb. 

 

The Golden Halla it seems that you need to chase it from a diagonal angel to have it go the right way or else it will go up and run around a specific mountain hill place which I do agree is dumb.
