You wouldn't say that when I'm combat rolling out of the demon commander every time he tries to hit me, while simultaneously keeping everyone's sorry asses from dying.

And no, there are other abilities that cost a lot of stamina.

For the OP: an example is rogues have a lot of high-cost abilities that are very powerful.

The one where all passives and abilities boosting armor don't work on "front armor" which is usually 95% of the time on a good warrior... 

 

In single player, you can have your Warrior tank better with his flanks and rear end than its front shield. Meaning you'll receive 1 damage when butt blocking while you receive 30 or more from being hit from the front...

 

"butt-blocking"  Dude(ette)! i'm eating breakfast!  why is there no emote for Spraying-My-Food-Out-Loud?

 

Still, this is very handy to know, and yet another sad bug Biowear should really fix...

I find her to be a poor man's Legionnaire when it comes to tanking.

And i find the legionnaire a poor mans templar when it comes to eradicating an entire spawn in 1 combo. Tanking is easy with shield wall, regardless of class.

i mean guard just doesnt have the staying power that barrier has, devs really need to look into that.

Tanking is easy with two area taunts. I don't even run Shield Wall on my Legionnaire. And yes, the Templar is best played as Support/Burst AoE DPS in my opinion (mine has 31% heal on kill btw).

AW doesn't count, he's hilariously broken. He can tank, cc and dps and is one of the few classes who can easily facetank the DC.

 

AW and Templar are a good combo by the way. WoH + Spell Purge in combination with PotA can clear entire Perilous spawns better than PotA + FC and shocked + weakened = sleep, which can create nightmare combos with an eldritch detonator like Spell Purge.

I have a plus 25 stamina amulet on my Alchemist and it's pretty nasty with the elemental mine, can't wait to get the plus 50!
