someone might have posted something about this before, but I still don't get it... so when i'm playing lego or templar in threatening, if i run away when demon commander attacks and didn't make it (stop telling me how easy it is, it's really annoying. i just can't avoid it so waht!) i would take like 600 damage. but if i back off a little bit and then face the dc when it comes out, it's only 30 damage or so. can anyone give a formula to explain that?
damage reduction mechanism?

Back or side attack = Flanking damage bonus
You don't even need numbers to understand why it's worst...
