As mentioned, cheaty save, gave myself a bunch of inq perks and bought all the perks at the war table, one of them came with silverite.

Actually shield is technically a weapon in this game.

I think a Shield is also a weapon technically in real life. 

 

Sooo, what about other weapons? Does it work too? Would be funny, could even be cool.

 

€: Just tried. Sadly it works not for other weapons. But I can confirm Shields.
