If I try to run Dragon Age Inquisition nothing happens but when I go to Origins the play button is grayed out. I tried to log out then log in but it wouldn't let me log out because apparently Dragon Age Inquisition is running. I went to task manager and it didn't show up... does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried to repair the game , or update?
Anyway first thing you should do is restart your computer.
Then start origin in admin mode , check repair game/update game.

- Turn off Origin.
- Clear Origin cache: http://sims4.crinric...in-cache-files/
- Run Origin again, it should continue some patch process that got stuck.

Looks like Origin believes that the game is not properly installed, maybe it lost the internet connection at some key point.
First reset origin, usually a restart and
If nothing happens, still can't select anything you may have to uninstall and using desktop and then reinstall with origin - takes a while
