I'm wondering, what is DA:I version of Hawke's champion armour. Please, show me the best, that is max/almost max level armours that mages use. I'm not interested in the stats but its appearance.
Please, show me the best mage armours in the game.

Do you ever play the game itself? The only time I see you post on these forums is when you ask for pictures of something, and i'm not saying that's wrong but there are heaps of threads depicting loads of mage-armors, why don't you look around instead of starting a new thread for everything that crosses your mind?

No, I don't. I'm waiting until they fix elves: http://answers.ea.co...04509#U4104509 . Yes, sure, probably there are screenshots ofmage armours, unfortunately, I'm not able to tell them apart from other classes. Names alone don't tell me much.

Names alone can get you to the knowledge you need..
Battlemage armor is what you're looking for

Torso shot on a male elf:

And before I forget, the elven mage restricted "Robes of the high keeper".
I don't know if there is a schematic for it, but the unique armor itself is won similar to the champions chest piece in DA2.

Go say that to all the guys on feedback forums then first.
They're making the same threads over and over, why can't they just stick to the one already made ?
Funny, no ? But I personally don't care.
But you prefer to complain at Lord Suiren because you dislike her/him.
That's kinda unfair don't you think ? To complain on someone and not the others for the same thing you dislike.

Alittle rude. I see lots of threads like this, and usually I don't bother. The reason I did here is because I read this particular users plight in an elven model thread awhile back and decided it was a cause worth helping. If you don't want to answer the question, then don't post a response.Do you ever play the game itself? The images contained within the spoiler are the male variations of the dalish scout and keeper. The female variations appear as Merrill's armor from DA:2, both before and after romanced. Scout appears as her green cloth and mesh, keeper appears as her white armor, naturally however colour changes depending upon the items.
Note: ELF ONLY
There is also Grey warden mage armor RE: DA:2 and various other mage gear, however they are not as strong. Keeper is the strongest mage armor other than Battlemage armor / mail / coat

If i've offended anyone then I'd like to offer my apologies, as I look back now my comment might indeed have sounded rude and pointless. I guess, like you said, I just had a bad day and saw every other thread re-posting questions for which I then blamed Surinen.
Again, I didn't really mean to offend and I should have just shut up. The game is wonderfull though, armor might not be what it's supposed to (too few options in my opinion) but the game is great...

I see duplicate threads start up for topics that are still on the front pages each day and I get a annoyed and consider telling them to use the search function and continue an existing thread rather than start yet another qunari armor thread or hair thread or what have you.. but that would solve nothing.

To show you a sample of golden mage armor (This was a sample, I've got all the schematics for every craftable armor in the game so) Here you go, I'd take more images but this is all the time I can spare today..

PS: Yes, I did cheat my carry-capacity, this is my 3 character and I got bored of having to empty my inventory mid-quest...

I like it. Can you colour pants in gold too?

In this schematic you can't, every schematic in the game uses different material-slot combinations (to a certain degree) and this schematic doesn't have a metal slot, so normally I couldn't change the color of this unless I use a masterwork material ( in this case I used Fade-Touched Volcanic Aurum) which is a metal material.
To give you an example of how colors work in simple terms =
Schematic A has 4 material slots :
- Cloth
- Metal
- Leather
- Cloth
I insert a yellow cloth into the cloth slot => certain cloth-pieces turn yellow (this varies as sometimes different slots modify different parts on the armor)
I insert a gold metal into the metal slot => Metal turns gold
I insert a black leather into the leather slot => Black leather
I insert a red cloth into the last cloth slot => certain pieces of the armor which are cloth turn red, so if you want a whole yellow armor you would need to insert that same yellow cloth like before in this slot as well.
Lastly, this schematic also has a Masterwork slot, which works in this way =
- I insert a black metal masterwork = all the metal on the armor will look black (This overrides any other metal slots)
- I insert a black leather masterwork = all the leather on the armor will look black (This overrides any other Leather slots)
- I insert a black cloth masterwork (I don't believe there is a black cloth but i'll use it for this example) = all the cloth on the armor will look black and again, override any other cloth colors
I hope this was helpful
