Oh yea, letting anders live was a lot more appealing when Sebastian tried threatening me. If it were ME me, I would have backhanded the ponytail out of his hair. Won't lie, pissing off the Seb had a lot to do with why I let Anders live.

Well my main hawke, Felicia Hawke killed anders for several reasons, and these are her reasons. Not mine but why she thought it made sense. 

 

1.) anders losing control and nearly killing ella. Ella happened to be Bethany's apprentince and someone who made beth happy.

 

"I've started mentoring apprentices. I enjoy time with the children, teaching them basic spells. One of them, Ella, has taken a shine to me. Adorable!"

For Felicia, protecting bethany but also making sure she was happy was her number 1 goal. if bethany didn't tell felicia to back off when she was going to the circle, hawke would have carved a path of blood through all of them to get to her sister, but this is about anders. Anders nearly slaughtered one of the few things that bethany loved and brought her joy by becoming vengence/justice. Hawke was pissed with anders, but gave him one last chance.

 

2.) the chantry blowing up: While hawke was andrastian, if a rather lax one who didn't give a damn. When Anders blew up the chantry it proved without a doubt to Hawke, that anders had lost it and was now Justice/Vegence. It also didn't help that she was trying to keep the peace from the mages and templars from spilling out into open war, which anders just did.

 

3.) Sebastians words: not the invading kirkwall thing. but the line about if Sebastian was in the chantry, would hawke be debating on what needs to be done? My hawke fell in love and romanced Seb, so to her this made things more clearer, she would have done many cruel things. 

 

so for those reasons, my hawke killed anders.

Yea, I don't get that at all. I get the feeling a lot of people here assume I'm like these other people for sharing similar opinions. It's happened in the Dalish convos too and it's really annoying.

To be fair, Hawke's attempts to keep peace were rather pathetic. Reminds me of Jarl Balgruuf.

well tgere are some bsners are just arseholes and activly antaganize x fandom so people often have to defend themselves because of it. Its not personal but the fandom is like the dalish we normally keep to ourselves but often harass x group for x reason. Thats my understanding of it

**** the templars, endangering people is what they do 24/7. They're no better than cops and more appropriately, the wardens. Using their place in society as a necessary occupation to do what they want, damn the consequences so long as you're trying to do your job. Terrible mentality.

I honestly expected better from BioWare. Mages causing terror all over Thedas and everyone is suddenly friends. Radical racial change without any education to stimulate it. And everyone just goes along with it. Sickening.
