In fact to be honest i'd argue she's about the most down to earth companion in the game.

Well I'm sorry but that comment was stupid. The humans do what they do because they're in danger. That's like saying I'm not in danger from a nearby enemy nation when I have more men and better position around them while they have superior fire power.
Or really, you don't even need an analogy. It's faulty because it assumes one can't be in danger when endangering someone else. And the implication is to stop the oppression, but if they do, then everyone would be in danger, besides just mages.

I loved how at the wartable during her silly crash the noble mission, Cullen's option just says "No, this is ridiculous" lol. I take that option every time. Maybe because they needed elf female as a companion, or players would moan. If they'd made Viv an elf, people would assume that all Grand Enchanters are elves (Fiona, Orsino and now Viv), and Cass is Cass.
Even though that comic is an oversimplification and misrepresentation of things, its still funny as hell.
