So I crafted a set of Superior Battlemage Armor for my female mage inquisitor, and wanted to craft a set of Battlemage Armor Arms to stick into it, but for some reason the left shoulder piece of the armor is about 1/2 a foot higher than it should be, tilted almost 90 degrees, and shifted forward.

It floats in that position permanently, and when I run it does all kinds of wonky things during the animation.

I took some screenshots to try to post what I'm talking about, but I apparently don't know how to insert them into the thread as the button I thought did it says I have to upload something & I can't figure out where I go to upload the pictures...  If someone could help me out on that one that'd be lovely.

I couldn't find any hits on google about the same problem, so I'm not sure if it's something on my end (which would be baffling but w/e) or something wrong in the assets.  Anyone else seen the issue?

Nope, mine works just fine. I have made several copies of this set too, and never encountered this bug. I haven't seen anybody else talk about it either, so you may have just found a one off bug.

You mean something like this?

10854237_763804010323143_691497941482038

It only happens for me in cut scenes, when I'm wandering around and fighting it's fine. But it's been driving me nuts.

I even tried loading up my male warrior and making a set for him, it doesn't happen to him.

Yes Reverend, my deal looks pretty similar to that, though yours appears to be a bit higher above the shoulder than mine.

For whatever reason though, mine is like that normally, not just in cut-scenes.  I haven't worn it long enough to see if cut-scenes were any different, might be an idea to check on my end.

Kinda surprised, given the nature of the problem, that it doesn't seem to affect everyone all the time. I'm not really sure what could cause that type of thing to occur, but not affect everyone the same.  Pretty bizarre.  Is there a good way to get this reported or some such for them to look at it?

I just crafted that as well, get the same thing.  It's too bad, because I really like that set of arms and armor. And when it flops around when you move about...

LOL, your signature bookends far too well with this post!

I can confirm I have the same graphical issue with this armor piece. Hope they fix it soon.

I can report the same problem.  It's visible on Human Female Mage inquisitor.  Doesn't seem to have the same bug when it's used on any of the other mages in the party.  It's a problem with that specific mesh being rigged to the wrong location.

Not just on crafted. The one that drops off one of the dragons is doing it to. Drives me nuts.

Are you using a human female mage? If so, can you share us your graphical settings? I found that setting the mesh on high solves the issue except during cutscenes.

Nope, I have a human male mage, and I am on PS4.

I just want to confirm this for the ps4. For female characters the Superior Battlemage with Battlemage Arms Armor causes the left shoulder pad to float above the character, but only during cut scenes. Still annoying enough that I stopped playing after a little bit. Just thows me off to much, I can't take any scene seriously. Considering this seems to be a major visual bug I'm surprised it has not been fixed.

The human female character is just all around weird during cutscenes.

Buggy armor (mesh bug, setting it to high fixes this. Tho still bugs in cutscenes).

Hunched over like an old hag from Skyrim.

Walk and sits like she has a fungal infection between the legs.

I've found that if you have the mesh settings on Ultra the shoulder flops around all the time whether you're in cutscenes or running around the world, but if you reduce the mesh settings down to high the shoulder piece sits in the right place while running around the world and flops around during cutscenes.

A strange bug. The armor in my first playthrough had it and the same armor (using different crafting materials) in the second doesn't. Didn't make any graphics setting changes, though.

Same thing happening to me, standard Battlemage armor (went to the wastes early, only version I could afford at the time) Battlemage arms and I get the floating pauldron in cutscenes. It's driving me nuts. I've had a previous female human mage using this armor and did not have this bug. Any solution would be great, if this is a mesh issue can we hope for this to be fixed in a patch? This is by far the nicest looking armor in the game but it's making cutscenes unwatchable.

Glad I'm not the only one, my female mage has the same problem. Vivian has been uncontrollably snickering... and she never snickers.

I think it's a human only thing. I only had this problem with my human female mage while my elven mage did just fine. Surprisingly the other sets (battlemaster's and prowler's) don't have that problem despite looking identical. Nothing I did fixed the problem so I made due with the battlemage mail arms.

I have the exact same issue, also really annoying, I am playing on PC with human female, havent tried it on other types but regardless this is not suppose to do this, please fix this bug :S

EDIT: After setting the Mesh from Ultra to High the shoulder pad drops to the right place, havent checked in cutscenes yet but I suppose I have to live with it until EA games pulls finger and fixes this, which usually they slack at doing promptly... -.-

I've had this problem for quite some time and like previous posters only occurs with the human female, but it occurs no matter where or when. I've removed all mods, repaired multiple times, mesh is at Ultra but nothing seems to fix it. Its really annoying, keeps me from using it

OMG I thought I was the only having this problem and was going insane!!!

Is there any way to bring this graphical glitch to the attention of the Devs so that this can be addressed?
