I don't think you're supposed to get them quickly, perks are something you get every once in awhile and put some thought into what to spend them on.

Although i agree that you should try to spend time on them i will still help :D

If you have Skyhold then complete a war table mission titled "Power for a price"

Then you get a new merchant named Farris

You can buy influence contracts from Farris, Spend all of your money on these contracts and without exiting the screen sell them all back

Then tah da! you will find that even though you sold the contracts you still get the influence and therefore get the perk points

(You can also do this once you get maxed Inquisition level to get extra power for those missions that require a lot of power"

Fastest? Cheat Engine and set the number of perks to what you want ...

In a normal play through, your Inquisition level will only be around 10 or so. Honestly, this is plenty if you have enough agents to count as prerequisites for the better perks.

You can purchase influence from a merchant out in the courtyard of Skyhold. It can become quite expensive but if, like me, you pick up and sell everything, it shouldn't be a problem.

Once you get to Skyhold, the guys opposite Bonny Simms sells books and stuff that give you power and Inquisition XP... I don't think he's locked behind an operation wall... some of it's pretty pricey though, but that's basically a shortcut to Inquisition perks.

Just walk around, kill stuff, collect materials, do quests, turn in requisitions, kill dragons (tons of influence)

Didn't even know you could buy influence (I'll check that out next time :P), but finished at influence level 14. I did farm a bit before the mission that gets you to Skyhold, so I reached influence level 5 before it and had every dialogue perk, but after that I never bothered with it.

I think they patched that one  Hyponin ;-)

Meanwhile I swear it said I needed the previous 4 to get the vital deft hands, but after 3 it was an option after all !

If you have any agents, they count as perks in the category they are in.

Oh, wow, that was one hell of a necro. As a fellow necromancer I approve.

Nah, they take a long time to accumulate. Towards the end you should have about 13-15 if not more.
