I'm one of those people that makes continual edits to TV Tropes pages and I was wondering whether it would be fair to classify terror demons as Demonic Spiders. For those not wishing to follow the link:

 

"Demonic Spiders are the enemies that, for lack of a better phrase, have the deck stacked in their favor. They have more Hit Points, they go swifter, they come in swarms, attacking them deals damage to you, etc. Basically, these are the enemies with annoying abilities granted to them by the programmers that make them exponentially more dangerous than any other random enemy, but no less common."

 

I personally find terror demons hard to deal with because of that teleport ability. Yes, I can move out of the way, but rarely do I react fast enough to do so. As such, terror demons are the leading cause of support mage death in DAI.

 

I have heard a few people express this opinion and was wondering if others felt the same. This would be a Your Mileage May Vary trope and other editors can be a little anal-retentive about adding YMMV examples without checking if others feel the same.

Add freaking despair demons to that list.  Those little bastards flying all over the place making melee chase them around the field.  Easily enough dealt with with ranged, but still annoying.

But yea, Terror Demons top of my list of new "hate them" enemies.  Used to be the freaking shrieks in DAO, but these are ten times worse.

I deal with them very easily by setting up fire mines and turning invinsible when I see them

I find them pretty manageable, even on Nightmare, tbh.  It's wraiths that give me the most trouble.

TV Tropes jumped the shark a long time ago.

Nothing like fighting 4 of these f*ckers in a tight space and they start chain teleporting, knocking you down over and over and over.

Would rather fight spiders again.
