Doesn´t seem to be the same issue as in this thread, but you should check if that intel graphics is supported?

I'm currently running the game on an Athlon 64 3500+, 2GB ram, and a Radeon 4850 512.

Running the game at 1680x1050, Max settings, runs at around 30-40fps or so.

I tried the No intro fix people suggested, and it works for me.

If you start to get stuttering after an in game cutscene in the next gameplay section, you need to save and then quit the game and reload the save. It makes it run smoothly after doing that.

Yeah, I let the intro movie play a few times, I got past it, but the video was choppy as hell. Then it sped up and started playing normally, then slowed back down again. It seems to pick and choose when it wants to be choppy and when it doesn't. I made it to the character creation screen, made a character, then got stuck on the load screen after that.

This is very frustrating, and I know there's a really simple fix for it I'm sure...

Well, they know this thread exists since earlier someone jumped in to lock it, even if it was a mistake. So the real question is this: is someone even taking the time to look into this problem, and if so, when can we expect a fix? An acknowledgement that Bioware devs are aware of this issue would alleviate at least some frustration.

I can only add my voice to the choir.

Single core user, so I expected some issues, but a loading screen issue was not one of them.

Windows XP, SP3, too.

Hoping to see a proper fix from Bioware though, in the meantime i´ll continue to enjoy the game.

so im now skimming through the last 8 pages about this issue and just wondering, does that link given earlier from megauploads actually work?

some have had laggy/stuttering video even after the loading screen skips, some it doesnt work at all, and some it just works. like I and several before me have said, random 3rd party files might not be 100% safe (eg. Trojans, spyware), so use at your own risk.  I for one will wait for an official Bioware fix

Can anyone respond to my question. What version of the game do you guys have? I have the deluxe edition from steam and it crashes, I am having my buddy test his and he has the deluxe edition from steam. If it crashes I would have to say its something to do with the Deluxe Edition unfortunately :(

I got my Collector Edition from Amazon.com today.

I have the same "STUCK AT LOADING SCREEN" bug after selecting to import my ME1 character.

My rig:

Athlon 64 3500+
2GB RAM
ATI 4870X2
WindowsXP SP3
500GB HDD

all drivers up to date.

---
just something to pounder, I had similar problem with Operation Flashpoint:Dragon Rising, in which that it also stucked at playing the .bik file because I have a single core CPU.
