On the one hand I do kind of worry that I'm helping to kill off a species that is just making a comeback, on the other hand if a dragon got the chance they'd eat you and everybody you care about.
Killing Dragons, Don't want to do it anymore, anyone ?

as my name might show I love dragons so I always regret having to kill them. The best I can do to make it easier on myself is to try to avoid them and only attack in defense

I only killed the dragon in the Emerald Graves just so I could obtain the Helm of the Inquisitor. I didn't bother with the others.

I just avoid them if possible, circle around if I have to get behind them. Too much grinding, im in level 22.

Well if they just could start giving me the loot from the start like I'm asking them to! But noooooo! They never do that and always say that I have to kill them first to get the loot. It really is their fault

I never liked killing dragons. I killed exactly one in my canon playthrough because 1) it was menacing refugees and 2) I needed dat Bull approval.
I *like* dragons. I may have watched too much of Toothless.

The skin of Toothless would make fantastic armor.

Um the same can be said for humans, elves, mages, and quanri. So basically everyone on Thedas could be deadly killing machines with the numbers. I suppose we should cut down all those populations too....
Well actually, elves and humans have been trying to kill eachother for a while, and qunari, well, that war's been hinted to be inevitable for some time.
Dragons are the one thing higher on the food chain. Sorry, but "Us or them". I choose us.

The only one I feel the need to kill is the Crestwood dragon because she's terrorizing the village.
The one on Dragon Island I won't touch because she's not hurting anyone, and is keeping the giant population down!
I feel so badly killing most of the poor things.

Giants deserve to live too! At least they can't fly around destroying cities from the sky.
Who am I kidding, I kill them both. Diversity of life is overrated.

It was after killing my first dragon, that my inquisitor had a chat with Bull in the Skyhold tavern about dragons. Bull had some interesting things to say, like he enjoyed a good fight, and there's no tougher opponent than a dragon, so there's that... But I could hear the respect he had for them too, like he was sad we had to do it.... He didn't actually say that but that's what I took away from the conversation... so I kinda feel bad about killing them... but at the same time the loot is awful shiny.
Bull doesn't regret killing dragons, he actually really enjoys it. He mentions that he respects a dragon's strength, but he gets a huge thrill from killing them. I remember one time when I brought him to fight a dragon, all my other companions are like "are you serious?" or "why are we doing this again?" and Bull's just like "Boss...You're the best"
I really only regretted killing three of the 10 dragons. The Sandy Howler, the Abyssal, and the Ravager. The other's were swooping around, attacking things, but the Abyssal you actually had to lure out and the other two were just snoozing taking a nap. Still killed them, but I did feel kinda bad about it.

Yeah, that's kinda what I mean. I could see how much he enjoyed fighting dragons, like there was no greater test, but I also bought into the respect vibe he was giving off, too. And it just got me thinking that maybe I shouldn't be killing them... kinda reminded me of what Kalros represents to the krogan.
Now, having killed 'em all, I've changed my mind. I agree with Bull. They are good fights... and the loot's not so bad either. ![]()
