In the feedback forums there has been alot of  dispute going back and forth about all different aspects of the game.

But i know alot of people dont like to visit feedback forums because of all the negativity.

So heres your chance to help out without having to surround yourself in the negative aspect. lol

I have put together a series of polls asking peoples opinions on different aspects of the game. And Im hoping to get enough voters to get the attention of Bioware. So i need everyone who reads this to take a few seconds and cast your votes. And if you can, pass these around on social media or wherever the game is discussed. Thank you all.

Poll on what you think is DAI's worst problems are here :

(remember you can choose multiple issues on this poll)

http://strawpoll.me/3179211

Poll on the question of Healing Magic:

http://strawpoll.me/3173971

Poll on what you want to see for DLC:

(Multiple choice poll)

http://strawpoll.me/3183351

And one more poll on mage class diversity...

http://strawpoll.me/3187562

And if your interested I also have a thread going listing the issues that need to be worked on here:

http://forum.bioware...anges-get-done/

Again thank you all for your help.

Personally Bioware has our best interest at heart so I expect a lot of this to happen depending on what they can actually get done in due time, what I simply want is dual-wield warrior like in DAO. It would just take some minor rigging from there lead animator and I already figured a few skills they could get it to work with without needing to add a new skill tree for warrior but then again there would need to be a few new skills in general too.

The first poll is absolutely useless and non-informative!

All the options are too vague, and most of them obviously can not be fixed or even affected with patches\updates.

"I do not like the combat'  or 'I hate potions'.. so what should devs possibly do about it? What does that 'feedback' supposed to tell them?

Does the player dislike the amount of  potions, their ingredients or the very fact that potions are even in the game?

Does the player dislike the combat animation, lack of AI custom scripting or the way combos work?

I understand, op, that your intentions were good. Still, this is not what the actual feedback statistics looks like.

Yeah sorry OP, this is near useless.  The forum is a segment of the hardcore fans of the series.  We know nothing about game development or game design.  Many people on the forums will be here to complain, not to fanboy (I haven't seen many of the people that were here pre-release).  And the feedback itself is far too vague.

OP, a simple question. Not confrontational or sarcastic.  Why are you doing the work of the Missing In Action's BW or EA's PR representatives, without getting paid.

Frankly, I've never understood this thing. It's not like EA is lacking in cash, now is it?

A pro-active approach. Very good idea indeed. I voted on all of them.

I might add that if results are inconclusive, it means Bioware did a really good job of making the most people happy.

-Or it means Apathy -- people don't care enough about the game to bother engaging in the process in the first place.
-Or it means the poll questions are too pointless/vague

Or... it doesn't mean a damn thing. The vast majority of people who bought this game do not even know that BSN exists, let alone some poll taking place within it..

If people are really apathetic toward this game they are not going to fill out a survey on their opinion of the game. How does this show that people who play the game and care enough to do a completely optional poll show inaccurate results?!?! The only thing you could say is that it is a small sample size. All I have to say is lets wait until the poll comes out with results until we judge things too soon.

I have read the poll questions and they are neither pointless nor vague.

I would just like to remind you that the online community is a powerful one and those who voice their opinions online are often felt away from the internet in ways that are present in everyday life. I would also say that overall the internet community is generally more intelligent than those who do not frequent internet forums and the like. Last thing is because someone does not know something exists does not mean they are not effected by it either directly or indirectly.

True, but it might mean that the poll results are inconclusive due to the omission of the unaware majority

Well yes. I believe that's the only thing that I'm saying. It's also the impregnable bottom line. Relevancy cannot be achieved when less than .001% is being polled.

And how is 'disliking combat' or 'having problem with the story' 'not vague' ?...

Voted! Very helpful and to-the-point lists here, and I'm happy to see that most of my votes are shred by the majority. I sincerely hope that Bioware looks to this and other sources of helpful fan-feedback for implementation later in the game.

The questions in the first survey are4 not "Do you hate the combat?" or "Do you have problems with story?", the one question is: {sic] "What do you think is Dragon Age Inquisition's biggest issues that needs to be fixed?". The person is asking people to tick off issues that strike them as being problematic.

Other than the grammar (don't ask me to correct me only got grade 8 english), it's not so bad at all. Do people have any idea how hard it is to come up with an informative and objective survey. Can be improved tho. I think the OP needs to realize he/she won't be able to acheive a random sample representative of the DAI player population, which would allow anyone to make decent projections from the survey results. Maybe allow people to address the issue in a very small write in area. Force people to be concise. Allow readers to weight the non-random results with more detailed subjective information. You could add questions for more detail but I wouldn't do that kind of work for free.

Your first poll has no option for 'Tactical Camera'. All it has are Controls. They are not one and the same. The controls are fine, the tac cam itself could be better.

I did vote, but these polls focus on things that have no chance of happening, healing magic being the big one.

They are simply not going to rebalance every character class/specialization, equipment, stats, and every combat encounter in the game. This is doubly true because the reason for removing it was to make tuning the difficulty easier. I would even say healing magic will probably never be seen in the series again.

Plot and quest-related things are not going to happen, either. That content will not change, because doing so would involve writers, voice actors, testers and more. They can keep feedback in mind for future content, however.
