I've got no complaints on the looks of the characters - I tend to like characters that do not look like models, or match some cookie-cutter sex appeal ideal. I think Inquisition strikes a pretty good balance between beauty and realism, when it comes to your companions.

I agree with this, but about 3/4ths of the forum response for complaints is either "I don't care" or "Make the same insipid jokes for the ten millionth time". Because, you know, it's just fine to ridicule an opinion that isn't in line with yours, especially if it's from a particular viewpoint.

 

striaght male gratification is a nono. If people do ask they are 'Kids and the game has grown up'. Its a f'ing fantasy Game people , the genre was originally designed for escapism .

 

If someone asks for more without asking to take away , i don't see where people can have an arguement. Its not somehow taking something away from you. And that goes for all sexual orientations if they ask, maybe take a second to consider what i just said.

Cassandra definitely has curves . I feel envious when she was walking with grace and my female Inqusitor was walking a bit like a duck in some scenes. xd

Vivienne is gracefull too. And there's Morrigan.

This arguement doesn't help at all. And you were able to make female characters in ME . the games fanservice should be to loyal and old customers that is all. What do you loose out on if straigh men get an extra eye candy? if there was a 10th companion who was liliana type for example , you wuld still have all your favorite characters. Noone is asking to take away . He made an opinion , you disagree and thats good enough.

Dorian is all kinds of hot and this is coming from a girl who hates facial hair - especially mustaches. I even like bald Solas...and once again, regretting Morrigan isn't a romance option. It would be so hard to choose between her and Dorian.

I know that, but it's pretty clear that Bioware just threw in the other races with a minimal adjustment to gear. Humans are fine - you've got a lot of looks to choose from in various styles - but the other races are gimped to hell when it comes to it. When almost every other NPC gets an outfit/armor/etc that looks better than the Inquisitor, the guy who's supposed to be the head of a massive organization saving the world, it's irritating as hell.

 

If you're not human, though, you're primarily stuck with the Hunter, Enchanter, Vanguard, etc sets, and they're bland as hell at best. Even the random Inquisition soldiers look better.

The only time I noticed any of my females walking gracefully and like women is at the end when she's walking into the party with Leliana.  Every other time she looks like she was raised by nugs.  3 playthroughs; qunari, human, and elf, all female and it was the worst with the elf probably because she's so thin as it is, that the ape-ish man gait was made worse.

I imagine not many guys were pleased by it either.... while it might have looked better with most male frames than it did with the female frames they didn't get to walk as smooth as other characters like Dorian and/or Solas.

ME took "eye candy for males" to a ridiculous degree tho, im bisexual so im perfectly comfortable with that kinda thing but stuff like the constant ass shots of Miranda made me roll my eyes

Really... Cas and Josie eye candy??  OK some guys may find them hot as a package but eye candy they are not.  I will never understand why this game is soooo bad at creating 'fantasy' women, the only good one is Morrigan and she is a returning character (even Lelianna is mostly ruined).  Cas is far less attractive than she was in her previous incantations.

Actually I do understand why its this way... I just think its a pathetic reason.

I don't see the issue with it. But then i'm straight male. I also like Cassandra. There is nothing inherently wrong with giving some 'eye candy' . Especially when pornographic material and even models exist IRL. Aslong as everyone gets something i'm happy. So i don't see whats wrong in people asking for 'eye candy' even if its not of my sexual orientation. Female Gamers seem happy with current choices. When they complained on previous titles i aggreed with them , now its men asking and suddenly words like 'entitled / Grow up ' are brandied around.
