I'm currently in the Emerald Graves at the Lion's Pavilion, where there are 4 sconces you need to light simultaneously.  I put all of my group members by each one and had them hold their position.  I entered the tactical camera and told each to activate their respective sconce, but only the last person that I command to do it actually does it.  The fire disappears really fast, so they have to be done at exactly the same time, so I can't have one light it and pause and go to the other, etc.  I've tried that a few times and by the time I get to the last one, the first fire goes out.  So why doesn't it work when I tell them what to do in the tactical mode?  I see the command show up next to their nameplate "interact" but as soon as I exit the tactical mode, they just ignore it.  It's extremely frustrating.

Who told you that you need to light them simultaneously? You need to light them in a certain order. If you do it correctly, all of them will burn simultaneously.
