It's a good thing I didn't need this armor... salvaged an Assassin's Mantle (Dawn) with ZERO armor rating. 
Showed up in the end of the mission.
0 Armor Rating lol

I have this armor too. Level 54 Assassin armor.
Since when can you salvage armors in MP though?
Anyways, I think they made a typo and it should be lvl 5 (OR 4), and it will probably be fixed.

I get them all the time. Never anything of a higher tier, though. With the exception of one of the Master Armors with the (color) description, you can salvage those from just having the default T2. Or i might have just gotten it in a Large Chest, but I definitely DO salvage armors from matches.
