Oh, so they broke the alliance as soon as it no longer served their purposes? Oh, who could have seen that coming? Shocking, I tell you.

It's almost like qunari are mindless zealots whose words for those who don't follow their cult is "animal", have stated their intentions to convert or kill everyone in the world and readily admit that treaties to them are just words on a page.

I want to know if Hissrad will turn on the Inquisitor, would be a nice choice/consequence.

That's the reason I just took the Qunari alliance in the playthrough I'm finishing up for tomorrow.  I want to see what Bull does.  Same with wanting to see what would happen to Blackwall but his quest didn't trigger for me.

I been wanting to fight Bull for quite awhile now, hope I get my chance.

Now that I know what is gonna happen in tresspasser, probably save the Chargers. Besides, Bull is an awesome party member, he is needed to help Sera keep the inquisitor grounded.

I overlooked transcripts of party banter in Inquisition, and the one with Cole and The Iron Bull concerning the fate of the Chargers got me teary-eyed. Bull thought Krem died hating him, but Cole told him that was not the case. Bull then asks what were Krem's last thoughts and Cole tells him that Krem's last thoughts were: "Horns up."

Screw the alliance, I want my Chargers!

This isn't even a question, and the Trespasser trailer makes it even clearer:

Point 1, there's Iron Bull himself, who it's not too hard to realize doesn't really like the Qun.  He's just scared of what he'll become without it.  But an Inquisitor that really cares about him can show him the truth and help him work through it, and he comes out better for it in the end.

Point 2, it's been made clear that the Qunari don't really do real alliances.  All they're saying really is "Since we are killing or enslaving everybody in Tevinter at some point or another, we can kill or enslave these specific Tevinter people first since you don't like them."  But the fact is, if the Venatori establish themselves as a threat, the Qunari are going to fight them either way.  So I'm not really getting much out of them that I wouldn't have anyway.

Point 3, it doesn't even work from a "pragmatic" perspective, since why would I want an alliance with the Qunari to gain their intelligence when their intelligence wasn't even good enough in the mission where they were trying to show me the benefits of allying with them?  The fact that 10 minutes in to our first operation, they expected the Inquisition's troops to die for the Qunari's screwup didn't exactly bode well for any joint efforts in the future.

I let them burn, and not care about Krem and other useless sh*t what Bull have as "soldiers", i would rather support and give money to real tal-vashots rebellions.

Never care and never save or make a deals with Qunari since DA2, it would be a pleasure to kill them again=)

That's why I saved the dreadnought in my current playthrough. Mostly in the hopes it would give me one more Qunari to kill in Trespasser. Will be disappoint if I don't get my bonus  :bandit:

I hope the Inquisitor is not forced to play dumbstruck at the prospect of the Qunari attacking him.

half of Denerim's population.

Only if you know that's going to happen. First time around, you wouldn't. And between fireworks and the bloody deaths of my drinking buddies, I choose fireworks.

Across 4 playthroughs, its an even split of Keeping the alliance and saving the Chargers.

Personally I'd sacrifice them everytime since I consider shutting down the Venatori across Thedas more important than any small group of mercs

Well, I DID sacrifice the Chargers for what I THOUGHT was the greater good, instead of going with my gut feeling that told me no matter how cool Stenishok is I still can't trust the Qunari...my gut was rii-i-i-i-i-iiiiiii*sobbing*iiiight!

*sniff*

Frack those backstabbing bastards!!!

And so help me if Bull turns on me too. His worst fear is creepy magic stuff like demons and the fade? I'll use the anchor to banish his (potentially) traitorous ass to the fade for eternity!

That TWO-TIMING SON-OF-A-NUG!!!

The Qunari Triumvirate can disavow all they want, Vidasala's whole operation seemed set up to be disavowable. DEATH TO THE QUN

I actually think their disavowing of Vidasala is genuine. We find a note in their fortress from the Triumvirate crumbled up in a ball that answers Josephine's query about the alliance saying that it still stands and Vidasala is not acting under their orders. It seems that she intercepted that message to prevent it from getting back to us. She was already doing many things the Triumvirate wouldn't stand for since it goes against the will and teachings of the Qun.

Despite the letter's existence (consider the location it is discovered in), the disavowal seemed more like a "Plan C", going by what is stated in Trespasser. If her plan worked, great, commence the invasion. If not, they can always cry "rogue agent".

for the one saying that the alliance is better than six men. it's a good perspective,
but
if you do save them to make Ironball a Tal-Vashof.it's mean you don't have to worry about a Qunari spy on your side and with him and the charger working officially for you you don't fear any betrayal. you have a group of mercenary under your control. so even if some inquisition forces leave for any kind of reason you will still have your small army there.
and a good leader does care about his men. not just sacrificing him like they were pions .

Quite well considering it prevented the capital city of Ferelden from being devastated by ultra-nationalist blood mage slavers seeking godhood.

Sten says it in Origins.

The treaty is a piece of paper whose only worth is the value others give it.

Won't stop me from roleplaying an inquisitor to do it, but as a player I knew before the dlc came out that they wouldn't honor it.

You can find the letter with IB right there with you in your party and he still turns on you. If it truly was the will of Qun that the alliance be maintained he wouldn't have flipped after you find the letter.
