Hey there!

As suggested by Dragon Age's official twitter, I moved my suggestion here to the forums.

This isn't just another "let me romance x" thread: As many of you probably know, the PC in Dragon Age: Inquisiton is able to flirt with your dwarven scout, which later reveals her name as Lace Harding, several times when you open up new areas in the game.

Just before the end of the game she talks about how she would like to "talk" with my character later on, but nothing had happened so far.

I'm not sure why this little romance is hinted so much and not fulfilled.


I won't even ask for a full romance like with the other party members. Just something on the side. For me she was the one who matched my Inquisitor the most and I'm a little sad that nothing happened.

What do you think? Do you also want her romance to be continued? Maybe in an expansion?

What I'd love to see is a Citadel-style DLC focussed on interaction with our companions and advisors that included the ability to get that drink with Harding, and maybe something more. It would only take two or three cut scenes to make her a proper romance!

That could look awkward. Maybe race-gate it then? Like... dwarves only?

Harding is the only character I would like to romance in DAI, with the possible exception of Dagna...

I'd like to see Harding make a return in DA 4 as a ranged rogue companion and bisexual LI, making her both the returning character that we usually get as a companion as well as the first dwarf LI.

I actually do want a full blown romance with Harding. She hangs around skyhold all the time so it's not like she is hard to reach. Lost opportunity Bioware, lost opportunity.

I have a theory.

 

Harding will be a LI in the next game... and BW are just testing the waters, seeing how popular she is.

Maybe if she reaches Cullen's level of popular. Get started, guys.

Given the flirt options, it could be that a Harding romance got cut because of time constraints, really.

It could be interesting to make her a full romance options in DLC or the next game, but for me the flirting with her was more of a gimmick. We don't really see a lot of Harding's personality in this game.

I wanted my male elf Inquisitor to romance Cullen. He even seemed to be flirting back in the beginning. It was so cute how he got all shy when I told him I was interested at Haven.

that archery contest and what was Harding doing was it dancing lessons or singing lessons? that would be a fun DLC.

I would prefer her in da4, like daveliam said, mostly because we don't really get a chance to know her in this game. She's cute and she's fun, but id rather have more time with her than one extra scene, so a relationship would feel more meaningful.

But I mean if its this game or none, bring it on in DLC!

i think scout harding was the coolest chick in the whole game.
