there's faster ways using the store. I have some "techniques' that bypass all that ****. Additionally it doesn't require a match so pugs won't get screwed up by a modded lobby. It doesn't even require a mod.You will "magically" obtain lots of in-game money that you can then spend until you have unlocked all ultra rare weapons at X from the store.
Some questions about the MP on PC.

Yeah, but the OP will have a tough time finding a solid group for speedruns, and you need to buy in bulk. Therefore, it is a lot tougher to save up all those credits. And the store is a ******. Friends of mine quit the MP because of it. They just grew tired of the chore that's called the store. The OP might start to feel like that pretty soon. But I do admire the effort to do it legitimately at this juncture in time. Should I start now, I could not do it...With this little time remaining? Before the game dies out? People have been writing obituaries for this game for well over two and a half years. But I can find a lobby now just as quickly as I could the week after it was released.
I basically agree with you on 'cheating' but ME3 won't die out until ME4 is released (maybe not even then). And judging by Bioware's few comments regarding the next game it seems that won't happen for a long while. So if the OP wants to earn his manifest the way we were all supposed to then he should have plenty of time to try.

I'm not blaming anyone. I know there is no way to prevent cheating in video games, especially not on PC. I actually understand why people cheat. Bioware making such a grind fest MP mode...
I don't mind if other people cheat, but I don't think I will.
Well, I'm sure you'd mind if people missile glitched in your lobby. I was just saying that they're different kinds of cheating: one ruins the fun for others, one doesn't. Not trying to change your opinion on doing that or not, just pointing that out

I was talking about the max manifest cheat there. Of course I would mind if people missile glitched in my lobby.

Hey if you want to unlock things without hacking then it is completely your choice, nobody will force you to do something you don't feel comfortable doing. We just have shortcut options for the morally corrupt gamers as well, which you clearly are not and it is a good quality to have in real life outside of video games.

My PC manifest is not legit and I'll be the first to admit that it's not legit. I came to PC to have fun without grinding which is the reason why I'm not as active on my PS3 manifest as much as of late. Plus, my PC challenges are all stuck.

Good day everyone.
I'm planning to get ME3 just for the multiplayer for PC. I play it on my PS3 a lot and nowadays I'm away from home so I'd like to get it for PC. ME3 is on sale at the moment on Origin and this is the perfect time to pick it up. But before I do, I need to ask a few questions.
1. Is the MP popular on PC? On PS3 it takes ~30 secs to find a game most of the time. How long does it take on PC?
2. Are there a lot of cheaters on PC?
I'm familiar with most of the glitches that you can run into on console (missile glitch, maxed out build, FB Hydra out of map etc.). How often do you meet cheaters on PC? Are there any "PC exclusive" cheats? One I heard about is the Chakram Launcher, which can be unlocked by modding the game. Are there others like this?
1.PC has a pretty large amount of players,I rarely ever run into the same person twice when pugging.
2.Most all public matches in MP are legit.I've been playing this on PC for over 2 years and have only dropped into 1 modded game in that time.Oh,and 1 missile hacker.
Although I do host lots of modded lobbies,95% don't involve public.I mainly play those with friends.

To OP: the number of people playing on PC defintiely exceeds the number of people playing on PS3, by a large margin. And being able to play Collectors without worrying if your PC will suddenly freeze was quite nice a feeling. For the longest time I got uneasy when facing Collectors. Also no preset lobby means your loadout might not be optimal for the enemy (like disruptor rounds and got Reapers). 60fps and the smooth movement can be a good thing, but usually will bite you in the ass in the ever-present lag, and latency is somehow way worse than what I've experienced on PS3.
About cheating...I've run into one cheater on PC, that was a plat pug lobby and their Avenger "is deadly on full auto". Having grinded all challenges and a manifest on PS3, I didn't plan on maxing out all the URs again nor grinding for any banner. If OP wants to do it again, sure. If people don't want to grind now and since Bioware isn't banning "cheaters" anymore, good for them. After all it's a game and it's about having fun.

To op: just buy the game already! Under $5 it's a no brainer.
Also, if you really like challenge, there are "zombie mods" that increase the game difficulty by 10 times (or even more).

The pricing is not consistent. 5.99 euros if buying from Switzerland but 2.99 euros from Netherlands.

Good to know, that's a shame for EA, glad they don't ban VPN buying (like steam does) though.

I use the Steam Wallet. I put in USD through PayPal and pay using the funds there without need to touch credit card. Worked fine with a US VPN.

That said it's still owned by EA, and the selection of games isn't that high, and the sales are... meh. But not bad, ME3 is pretty cheap right now.
