there's faster ways using the store. I have some "techniques' that bypass all that ****. Additionally it doesn't require a match so pugs won't get screwed up by a modded lobby. It doesn't even require a mod.

Good day everyone.

 

I'm planning to get ME3 just for the multiplayer for PC. I play it on my PS3 a lot and nowadays I'm away from home so I'd like to get it for PC. ME3 is on sale at the moment on Origin and this is the perfect time to pick it up. But before I do, I need to ask a few questions.

 

1. Is the MP popular on PC? On PS3 it takes ~30 secs to find a game most of the time. How long does it take on PC?

 

2. Are there a lot of cheaters on PC?

I'm familiar with most of the glitches that you can run into on console (missile glitch, maxed out build, FB Hydra out of map etc.). How often do you meet cheaters on PC? Are there any "PC exclusive" cheats? One I heard about is the Chakram Launcher, which can be unlocked by modding the game. Are there others like this?

I thought this game was done for when Titanphall, and then Destinee started.  I was wrong...

On PC, I can still find a gold PUG within 15-30 seconds; I don't PUG platinum much, but when I do it doesn't take long.  The players are better now than 1 year ago, too...

You were, because ME3MP clearly died when Borderlands 2 was released - as was widely prophetized.

1. Instantly.

2. Only 1 in 100 chance of running into cheaters. 99% of the games are unmodded & cheating free games. We don't have missile glitching. Still if you do run into a cheater, just quit the lobby and join another, it is basically a non issue on PC.

3. PC version is more active than the console versions. Xbox 360 & PS3 versions will eventually die out when most of the last gen gamers have moved onto Xbox One, PS4 or PC, but PC version will live forever because of infinite backwards compatibility.

4. PC version is the best, PC exclusive features include, 60 FPS, 1080p, 1440p, 4K, 8K etc, Mouse/Keyboard, Better Graphics. More RAM for Collectors. Basically Next-Gen ME3 Experience compared to Xbox 360 & PS3.

it took me more than 2.5 years to max my manifest on pc, and i m pretty happy to have done it the normal way.

But, i did nt care much to play with a harrier X ASAP... And being close to it (most ur unlocked) when i got better was enough.

And would have i had high skills fast, i think i would have hax my way. Same if i had started playing in 2014 or if i had a manifest on another platform.

Getting black cards has some little fun, but not that much

U even have some commission for buying in euros from france, cause the store is "in switzerland" (obvious tax reason) ! I still don t get how a internet store could charge commission for a transaction not including currency exchange, but banks R the best !

Thats actually a pretty decent price.  I've paid more for a sandwich and coffee in Zurich.  Americans do get hit hard though - as I recall, it's about $1 to 1 Swiss franc on the exchange rate, but the latter has about 1/10th of the purchasing power, in Switzerland at least.

Well, it was better on paper than the UK.  But I was only really saving money because I was working at a boarding school.  Once you don't have to pay utilities, rent or food bills, salary becomes more of a way of keeping score than anything else.
