OK, I dont know what to do with this bloody error. Asked @dragonage but they dont know nothing about fixing problems, just copy/paste some sorry about inconvenience and they say to post on Answer HQ and of course there NO ONE from Bioware and EA anwers.

Does anyone have this error? Anyone at all knows how to fix it? Game just crash, sometimes after 5 min, sometimes after hour but I think that wasnt the case before this EPIC patch 2 and hotfix.

I feel your pain, brother! The game is definitely less stable and more ugly for me since the patch. But yeah, it sounds like you need to go to customer support, as Fred above says.

I read and only saw that nfs, bf4 and now da:i have this problem. Other two fixed through updates of the game. Something is wrong with game and needs to be patched.

Now I got option for live chat, waiting to see if they can help.

Ah my luck, now advisors are not available.

They tried to help me as they have sent me links how to install directX, then how to create new windows account, how to disable origin in game, how to repair game. And that was it. Not helpfull at all.

Have you done the latest Nvidia driver update?
If not, it might help.

Alternately, if you DID recently update your nvidia driver, then maybe try installing the previous version, in case something got introduced that didn't mesh well with the patch?

Looks like you have driver 344.80 it's a beta driver.

Try rolling back driver to 344.75 (I think that's the driver version I have...and the one that's available on Geoforce.....didn't find the 344.80 available on Geoforce, even when checking 'include beta drivers')?

Ah, the dreaded DirectX error.  I had that until I recently upgraded my graphics card.  There was a huge 100+ post thread about it on the help/feedback page, but the EA folks tagged it solved to get rid of it.  I don't think Bioware has really fixed this one yet.

It's still under investigation according to the T&W sticky thread:

"We are aware of issues with certain NVidia graphic cards and we are working with NVIDIA on a solution.
If you encounter a crash followed by DirectX errors, please make sure you have up to date drivers and your PC meets minimum spec. We also recommend not using an overclocked GPU."

Meaning if your GTX 780 is a factory-overclocked card from Asus, EVGA or MSI, try lowering it to default clock speeds.

It is still crashing with that directX error but if I lower it than default I will loose performance. It is that poorly optimized frostbite engine.

I tried default, underclock and even overclock and it is same. I didnt had that error before patch#2 and hotfix but I had that other one  that many people write about.

Did you try that 344.75 WHQL driver instead? There's no reason for your 780 to be running on that hotfix driver since it's more related to the GTX 980.

Well I don't know much about errors, but it says something about shaders and such, and this latest patch did something to the shader, so have you tried to lower that?

Might I suggest a post on the nvidia forums as well?

They might have more experience than the driver error than BSN folk.  And we all know pc users can fix things faster than any company :)
