Am I the only one who thinks the characters walk/run too slow?  I've seen a lot of players jumping non stop trying to go throught the cenario faster.  And in combat, unless you have a sprint/charge ability, its such a drag to reach the enemies.

As a veteran in ME3 MP, This lack of speed really annoys me sometimes, specially as a legionaire.

in case you didnt know, there is a sprint button (commonly referred to as the briskly walk button).  It doesnt do much, but you do move faster.

I agree I am tired of having to chase enemies. It's really irritating when playing a rogue and trying to use twinfangs ,or similar abilty, right as the eneny moves and almost always missing.

Sprint is useless and annoying. Just get rid of sprint and make movement speed fast like single player.

That's the real issue, coming from fast single player to slow MP. And then back again. They should be the same.

THIS.

With ME3 MP I only used fast and nimble characters

in DAI MP all characters and classes have the same speed!

Whose idea was this??

Ugh, this forum is sickening. I can't stand the ME fanboy speech. I have a feeling most of you people have been lurking here WAY too long.

Anyway Reaver and some other classes have enhanced speed abilities. If you knew a single bloody thing about DA you'd know that speed abilities have always existed.

Haste (not sure if it exists in Inquisition) was a spell that made your party move pretty damn fast. But it would be insanely OP in multiplayer. You could even stack it with two mages.

It may sound like fanboy speech but the ME3 MP gameplay was pretty diferent from its single player game, and  i think you would also say it was OP compared to the single player experience, i dont think it needs to be seen as a bad thing.

Anyways my discussion is not  about overpowered characters, its a desire for faster paced game, you spend more time walking/running in the match than fighting, wich is rather boring for me. Leave the wallking/running to the single player, i want more action in the multiplayer!!!

Depends n whether or not they're jumping because of lag, or if they just like to bunny hop around. If I enter a laggy match where walking is so painfully slow, you'd clear the next room before I even made it to the door, I'll jump. Sometimes running bugs out too with lag, so jumping is the only feasible way to move. Makes dodging melee characters a bit of pain in the neck, but also has a chance of dodging ranged attacks if you're strafe jumping. At least, that's why I jump, and why the majority of the people I've seen jump around like loons jump.

My experience, even though I know how to sprint and use it constantly, is that I am too slow and other players are too fast.

Lol, I keep hitting the shift key when I start my SP playthrough. Muscle memory.

Same.  Fade step into the middle of the archer pack, spam arcane blade until the closest targets are dead, then hit shift as I move on to the next target, then mash it trying to get sprint to work, only to realize, it doesn't exist...

Poor Cole.  Despite having my KE and Cassandra pulling tons of aggro, and Dorian and my Inquisitor spamming barriers, the guy drops like a fly, even on normal.  Just like me trying to play an Assassin in MP!

The only character with a sprint button is the Katari ;)

although in combat i find the pace fine, in between combat, constantly having to press the sprint button is annoying. It doesn't even add a lot of speed. Why not just make the sprint speed the normal speed? it boggles the mind :/

Agree I'd love to see this changed so that sprint is automatic. My thumb is so sore from pressing it in lol lol lets see sprint become automatic. :)

BW seems to think sprint means "walk slightly faster"

Gay, I already noticed before that you are a nice person ;-)

nevermind, I really understand that ME3 seems to be omnipresent here although this is DAI.

But most Bioware Fans have been playing this game and many
did that EXCESSIVELY.

And one's judgement of a game, as well as the expectation one has of
a game, mostly depend on what a person has experienced before.

Sorry but I really cannot help to automatically compare things and apologize

Honestly they should just remove non-sprinting from MP.

It is ok that some classes are slow - because this is typical for their role.

When I played a Krogan I could not complain about speed, either.

But people should have the choice to pick a fast and nimble class that

1. feels different

2. can evade attacks easier than the tank could
