My PC (elf rogue) has been walking around with highly negative defense %s. I thought it might be a lack of "rest" but that didn't change it. Anyone know why this is occurring? All other characters are positive.

Actually, this might not be a bug. Check your equipment. Some items have a "berserk" feature that says something like +20% damage to enemies +200% from all sources. For example, there is a unique axe with this, er, feature.
I actually dislike the fact that item descriptions are so small and obscure. Something quite similar happened to me too. My PC suddenly became very, VERY squishy, sometimes dying from one single blow. It took me some time to realize that it was that cursed weapon!
