Do the weapon stats have an impact on the abilities?
For example
- heal on kill
- armor penetration
Thank you.

Heal on kill totally works with abilities. I never use the regular attack on my Reaver because of it. Dragon Rage all day.
AP? One of the things I wish MP had stat and attribute "tooltips" or a list explaining.
I would also like to know more about Armor Penetration. Does it work with mage staff attacks and abilities? Or does magic only roll against elemental resist and magic resist?
if heal on kill works, all the other things could/should also work.
But who knows ??
Take the mage-staff for example, probably AP etc. does not help with spells like lightning, etc.
right??
I'm fairly certain Armor Penetration has no effect on non-physical damage, so most(if not all) spells as well as staffs wouldn't be affected by it.

Really?
I agree that we should be able to see more stats. Or you can do the math yourself if you figure out how. Might wanna ask Mission5555 ![]()

What about the perk "attack" ??
I am crafting things for my staff and really want to know this...
Because if not, I would go with utility like magic, willpower, etc.
Just read the guide: http://forum.bioware...echanics/page-1
Armor Penetration only works with physical damage. All staves and mage abilities do elemental or spirit damage, no physical damage whatsoever.
Attack is a great stat to have, much better than any basic stat (STR, DEX, MAG, VIT, CUN, WIL). Check out the guide to know which one you should invest in order of priority.
thank you
Heal on hit is phenomenal with an AOE such as long shot or explosive arrow. My bow heals me for 1% on every hit. So, if i explosive arrow a group of 5 enemies, i get 10% of my HP back because the arrow hits twice. (once for weapon damage and once with fire damage).
