There seems to be some confusion by Gamestop customers when they enter their Cerberus promotion code in the activation screen.

Please do this:
Go to the Code Redemption page here: http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
Enter the Cerberus code you received from Gamespot (This applies to both PC and Xbox 360 copies)
PC Users will get a file to download and install. Please do so. Then restart the game and you will get your Cerberus activation.
Xbox 360 users DO NOT need to download the file. Simply redeem the code, restart your game and you will get access to the Cerberus network.

We hope this makes things clearer. We are adding this message to the redemption page now as well.

I have redeemed the code on my PC and it is telling me when I input the Cerberus Network code on my 360 that the code is already in use. I attempt to download the Network and it offers it to me for 1200 Microsoft Points.



I have read that this has to do with linking the proper e-mail address to your EA account? My EA account and my Xbox LIVE account have different e-mail addresses. Is this an issue?

Your XBL gamertag needs to be linked to your EA account.

Hi, I just got my copy about 30min ago and while installing, i decided to register all my codes on the site. I had bought the collector's editions so there were a good bit of codes. Now here is the weird part...I registered my Cerberus Network card on the site & instead of giving me network access it unlocked my collectors edition armor & gun? And now I no longer have a cerb network code because after I started the game it asked for my code again...I put it in and it tells me the code is in use. I'm kinda at a loss on this as in what to do, any way I can get help with this?

Wow dude, thanks. The problem with that is: EA doesn't let you delete "persona"s, so if you have your LIVE account linked to an email you no longer use, you're SOL. Waiting to talk to tech support right now because this is absolutely bogus.

Just to let you know, when I did this with the code from my Cerberus Network card, I received a download for the CE armor.



Activating it in-game seems to be the correct way to do it.

I apologize for the ignorance. I'm a little new at this part of the game and I only want to do things properly.

This isn't working. Last night I redeemed my collectors weapon and armor code, then my terminus weapon and armor, and then my Cerberus card. Each one brought me to a DL page however I got the same page for both the collector's items and the Cerberus card. I downloaded both, I've restarted my computer multiple times and tried to access the Cerberus network in game and it still asks my to input a code and when I do input it, it says it's already been used.

Also, on the game promotions page I only show Collector's weapon and armor, Terminus weapon and armor, and blood dragon armor, nothing about having redeemed a Cerberus code.

And I thought some lessons would be learned from some of the stuff that happened with the Dragon Age launch. *sigh* I'm in the same boat as Daeion on PC. inputted both my CE Cereberus network code and my CE code and each gave me a download for the same thing. When I put my code in in-game, the code is already in use.

Believe me dude - I know.  I'm having the same problem you are.  We don't know that pcalahan is, though, so s/he might as well try first.

Right, so: yes, this account is also an EA account.  The email/password you use here will work on EA's site.  Once you're there, look for the login option (either at the bottom right of the screen or top right).  Once you're in, go the main Account screen.  Check and see whether your XBL gamertag is listed under the "persona" category. You should see your BioSocNet display name here. If your gamertag is there, you're in great shape. If not, you might still be ok.

Next, try to "add persona" - should be an option right beneath the display name(s)  you see listed.

In the next screen, select "existing Xbox LIVE Gamertag" as the persona type to add. Type in your gamertag in the "Account Name" prompt. If it's already linked to another EA account, it'll tell you it's already in use. Otherwise they should now be linked.

Yeah, sorry for biting your head off.. Just been flipping through threads and people keep responding with that same thing.



There's also an option on the 'Add Persona' screen that has "Add EA classic Account" Which makes it sound like you can link multiple EA-Accounts together. Trying to do it, but I think I broke EA cause now it's not even giving me "Username Taken" when I put my XBL account in.

Having the same problem. It keeps taking me to the dl page for the Terminus, collectors and blood dragon armor, (which I've already installed, yet it seems to allow me to dl these three items over and over), but no ingame cerberus network activation allowed, (it tells me the code's already redeemed),and the free 1200 points for Zaeed.

Wow, they just "cancelled" my live chat request. That just made me blow up. I won't repeat the profanities or threats made against EA.

Before you can link your Xbox LIVE Gamertag to your EA Master Account, you need to log in to any online EA game with your Xbox or Xbox 360. Once that is done, check your email inbox at the address you used to sign up for your Xbox LIVE Gamertag for an email from us describing what you need to do to link up your accounts.

Keep in mind, this email may not appear immediately, so be patient. Note, you can always come back to this page to re-trigger the email in case you missed it.
