Soooo I guess as long as you only have one gamer tag/email account and register via computer, but not download on computer it works out.

It says my gamertag is in use when trying to add a persona. What should I do? =(
Bad news - you're going to need to contact EA and try to get them to merge your accounts. Do you still have the email address associated with your gamertag?

I get this message when I enter my gamertag under add persona:
Sorry, we can't find information about that Xbox LIVE Gamertag.
Good news, believe it or not. You just need to fire up ME2 (assuming you haven't done that yet). If you have and it's still saying that...hmm.

Wow, they just "cancelled" my live chat request.
Ha, I'd be ready to punch someone too. I don't even have the game yet, I'm just trying to resolve it before it gets here (not that it will be at this rate). As you said earlier, it's astonishing that EA doesn't even
give its users the simple feature that would resolve all this - the option to delete accounts or even just an individual "persona."

Is Gamestop supposed to e-mail me the Cerberus network code as well? Or does that come in the game's package? They did e-mail me my Terminus armor code.
Supposed to be in the box, yep.

I have fired up ME2 twice already and it still says this. I even go and check the email I used to register my gamertag and no emails. I've been waiting on an email since around 1am last nite and it is now 11am here in Houston so it's not like I'm being impatient.

Huh - so you've started the game, gone back to EA's website, tried to input your gamertag again, and it still says that? Weird. There are a lot of issues with this system.

So if you can't link your gamertag to EA.com then you can't access the pre-order/CE stuff at all? Including Cerberus Network?
I'm still not clear. In theory, you should be able to just input the codes in-game without worrying about EA at all, but people were saying (anecdotally) that it wasn't working, and one of the devs here advised against that. They're recommending that you input everything on the site. I would tell all 360 users not to input anything unless and until they're positive they have their accounts linked properly.
In other words, we're gonna need more clarification - particularly on this gamertag issue.

Well thanks for the information. I suppose I'll just play and avoid the DLC until the second play through...which is really stupid. So much for day one DLC and all this madness to get pre-order bonus stuff.

For those of us that already redeemed our code in game?
Are we SOL?
Doubtful.
Bioware will get this fixed just like they did for DA:O debacle or get really bad press the week of the game release. Problem is it will probably take a week to get sorted out.

I picked mine up in the store and they handed me a seperate sheet with the code on it, just like they did for DA:O, not sure how online is supposed to be doing it.

So were getting screwed out of extra content cause of EA? It should of just given a damn XBL code like every other game...
Yeah, I appreciate what BioWare's trying to do by integrating with the social site - but the issues on EA's end make this unworkable.
@gnrfan228: Honestly, I have no idea. At least in theory some system should have captured the data (the codes) you gave it - so hopefully there will be a fix for everyone in your shoes. I imagine BioWare, EA, and Microsoft are all trying to coordinate a fix...which is part of the problem. It could be a while before the issues on every side get sorted.
