Hi guys, we're aware of the various DLC and Cerberus issue(s) and working on solutions technical-side. Nobody will be "screwed". We'll give you more updates asap.

Thank you sir.  This simple comment right here is what makes Bioware such a top notch dev.

I got my DLC stuff worked out but the instructions are highly misleading and inaccurate.

EA/Bioware Social Network have the same Email/Username---This is key
Log on to the EA.com site with said Email/Username----Attempt to add your Xbox live Persona
If this doesn't work boot up ME2 on the Xbox 360
DO NOT ENTER the DLC code yet!!
Log into your EA/Bioware Social Network account from the in-game prompt
Go back on the web to the EA.com site
Log back into your account using the EA/Bioware Social Network Email/Username
Your Xbox live gamertag should be displayed under your persona
Head to http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php
Make sure you see your Gamertag displayed
If your gamertag is displayed you may enter in your DLC codes w/o fear

TYVM, it worked!

Wow, appears someone has dropped the ball. Thank God we Europeans and Australians who are still waiting for Mass Effect 2, and are still scouring the forums to feed the hype monster that lives deep inside our stomaches got this information before we got the game. I'm sure quite ALOT of people have made this mistake.

When you log into the EA.com site do you see your Xbox live gamertag listed as one of your personas?  Do you also see your Xbox live gamertag listed at the Redeem code Bioware Social Network site.

DO NOT enter in a dlc code unless you see your Xbox live gamertag on both the EA.com persona site and the Redeem Code site here at bioware.

At http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php it should display your username/email that is currently being used.  It should also display your Gamertag.

Is this the place where we complain about not be able to even connect to cerebrus on the PC digital download edition, or does that go in some different thread?

I can logon here without issues, and there's numerous posts saying that you use the same user/pass here, on cerebrus, and at ea.com...   So why do I keep getting told my attempt is timing out or there's a problem with the server?

Just to clarify: if we are one of the unlucky to have EA and XBL accounts with different e-mail addresses, we're just gonna have to wait 'til Bioware comes up with a fix ... or what?

No.

My XBL email is a hotmail account.  My EA/Social Network are a gmail account.

It doesn't matter what your XBL email is that has nothing to do with the process at all.

Your EA.com and your Bioware Social Network must have the exact same email account.  This is vital.

If you followed my directions above you should see this:

I edited out my identifying features.

When you boot up ME2 it will prompt you for the Cerberus Network.  Follow the prompt and enter in your EA.com/Bioware Social Network Username/Email address and password.  Follow the directions but DO NOT enter in the DLC code.  You will enter in all DLC codes at http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php

When you put in your ME2 disc and start it up you will get prompted for the Cerberus Network.  Follow the in game steps.  Enter in your EA.com/Bioware social network credentials.  DO NOT enter in any DLC codes at all.  Then follow the rest of my instructions.

If you did everything correctly you will see the following screens at http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php and at your EA.com profile site.

Nope nothing about my gamer tag is displayed.

On my EA account I have no persona, it only gives me the option to add a persona.
On the Redeem code site here at Bioware, it only shows the email I'm using for this account right now (no gamer tag).

So I say it would save confusion for myself if I just create another Bioware / EA account using my gamer tag's email address.

How can I get past this?

Have you booted up ME2?
Have you entered in your EA.com/Bioware Social Network Username/Password on the Cerberus Network log on?

Boot up ME2.
Log onto the Cerberus Network start up screen with your EA.com/Bioware social network Username/Password.  DO NOT enter in any DLC codes yet.  Get back on the web and hit the EA.com site and check your persona's.

I also run into the Xbox LIVE Gamertag has already been taken, when attempting to link EA with my Gamertag.

Having double checked, my e-mail address for both EA.com as well as the BioWare Social bit are the exact same.

This morning at midnight, I had entered my redemption codes for Terminus Armor and Cerberus Network, and they were given to me as PC, as I'm sure many others have mentioned.

Now when I attempt to redeem the code on my 360, I am told to purchase the Network for 1200MS. The Terminus Armor tells me I can find it on Shepard's terminal. Alas, nothing there either.

I apologize again, because I guess I am just not getting the catch. Argh!
