Anyone know how to do this?
Is it possible to ally with templars and have Leliana as the divine?

I allied with the Templars, and still had the option to make Leliana Divine. I didn't just make them part of the Inquisition, but I allied with the Templar Order. I made Celene, Gaspard, and Briala work together, and Leliana was made Divine when I told her in a dialogue option that I would support her. Fortunately for me, I could still switch my choice to Viv in my game, but Leliana was made Divine if I didn't do Viv's war table quest.

Ah thank you guys, Leliana would make the best divine imo (unhardened Leliana), and I really want to ally with the templars in this game as opposed to the mages like I did in Origins and 2

There is another thread on here called "information about picking the divine" or something like that. It is very helpful in picking your choices.

yep think its possible. you might have to do a wartable operation after you speak with all of them and express your opinion.

From what I've been told, it is impossible to get Leliana as divine if you ally with the templars or conscript the mages considering in the Divine thread, nobody who has conscripted the mages or allied with templars has gotten Leliana as divine. Sorry, but no templar alliance if you want Leliana as divine

I played a mage who disbanded the Templars but encouraged Cassandra and agreed with Vivienne in most conversations and shot Leliana down over most issues with the chantry even telling her outright I wouldn't support her goals. Still ended up with Devine Victoria, fwiw.
All the Divines are named Victoria. Not just Leliana.

Wonder how long it will be until OP rages when he finds out he can't get Leliana as Divine since he allied with the Templars.

it is possible to get Leliana as Divine if you side with Templars.
The Divine choice is mostly around the choice you made.
If Leliana becomes Divine when players side with Templars the remaining Templars will follow Cullen Example and stop taking Lyrium. This allowed many members to join the New Seekers of Truth.
Considering this is Leliana's Templar epilogue it most likely to make Leliana Divine players will need to make Cullen stop taking Lyrium and push Cassandra to rebuild the seekers and make them Better.

I romance Cass so I convinced her not to take the throne. And I never speak with Viviene(probably better if not recruit her at all actually.)
I sided with Templar.
Reconciled Celene with Briala.
Soften Leliana.
Ally with Wardens.
Probably the best epilogue imo.

I allied with the Templars and I even accidently got Leliana as Divine as I mentioned above. My second playthrough I conscripted the Mages and although haven't gone too far yet, I believe I can still get Leliana made Divine if I wanted to.

Are you guys sure? Not that I doubt any of you, but I would love to see any already existing vids showing conscripted mages/allied templars with Leliana as Divine.
Because if this is the case, I may attempt three different playthroughs for Divines with Conscripted Mages.

Sadly no video have been posted yet since the only people posting so far are mostly Mage path players.

I sided with Templar.
Just to be clear - you sided as alliance with the Templars or did they became part of Inquisition?
Does either one work ?

^Full Ally
Conscript both mage or templar will give you Viviene

So it seems like to get Leliana as Divine, you need to ally (not conscript) with either mage/templar?
Then pick options on reforming the Chantry?
Can we make all three Stooges (Celene, Gaspard and Briala) work together?

I allied with the templars and made Celene, Gaspard, and Briala work together, and got Viv.
I'm thinking you can ally with the templars OR make the jerks work together, but probably not both to get Leianna (as neither she approves of). If you ally with the templar, but Briala as the power behind the throne for best bets of getting her divine.
But I could be wrong.

I allied and had the Templars join the Inquisition
Gaspard and Briala rule
Leliana was hardened and made Divine
my end slides:
EDIT: Whoops forgot I put the end scene after the credits at the end. So if you don't want to be spoiled stop watching after the 4min mark

Gaspard and Briala rule
That;s the main reason. David Gaider has said the 2 biggest factors which push Leliana towards Divine are:
1 - Freeing the mages
2 - Supporting Briala at the winter palace.
So if you ally with the Templars, which is a push towards Cassandra as Divine, you will need another push towards Leliana.

I personally don't think it's a good idea to side with the Templars if you plan on making Leliana the Divine. Why? Because, if you side with the Mages, the free Mages go on to make a college or something like that, where all Mages can go. Basically, it's a place where every mage is free to go to work on their magic in peace and be among others of their kind. As far as I know, that doesn't happen if you side with the Templars, at least according to the epilogues we're given.
Without this Magic College, where does that leave the free Mages? New mages have nowhere to go, no one to turn to when they need to learn magic. Some of these new Mages come from poor families, so that leaves hiring a magical tutor out of the question. At the very least, there don't seem to be any organizations dedicated to Mages in the Leliana/Templar ending. Ultimately, I think that would be a bad thing, having Mages running around with no where to practice magic.
I'm all for freeing Mages, however, I feel there needs to be some place they can go and learn, so they don't lose control of their magic. That college run by Mages would be perfect. That college shows the world that Mages are more than capable of governing their own, and gives the rest of southern Thedas more respect for Mages in general.

Probably the best epilogue imo.
I actually prefer the bright hand ending I got when I conscripted the mages and made cassandra divine. I like slow change seems safer for everyone.

Yeah no not every epilogue is on there. Made Cassandra Divine the mages accepted her offer and created the birght hand circle who tried to be close with the inquisition and push for reforms.
