Go to support.ea.com/chat and wait in queue. Ask the technician to link the ea account with your gamertag. Restart xbox. Worked for me.

I realize that this doesn't help anyone who's already been screwed over, but you can log into your EA Account and redeem all these codes from inside the game at the main menu. I did it that way and I had 0 problems redeeming all the codes onto my game for the collector's content and cerberus.

They need the folks at EA Sports to step in and show them how to fix this. They put links to auto-link your account to your Xbox Live on the site. ie. They need a "Link Account Here" button asap on the Mass Effect Site with a warning to Gamestop buyers.

wth is the number to call to change what email my account is linked to. i made a new account and redeemed my code but apparently bad company had already made me an account. like really EA? just let me redeem this stuff on the xbox live marketplace. please.

Go to EA.com and click on the support button. This is pretty typical first day EA stuff. Relax, it should be sorted by the end of the week.

Edit. They did answer your question. Just not in the way you'd like. The problem is your dealing with EA system and the account linking software is...well problematic.  I think it's getting hammered from all the ME2 players. Go to EA.com and log into your EA account. From there go to Profile and "Add A Persona" from there you can link your Xbox Gamertag. If that doesn't work contact EA suppot via their chat or the 1-800 number on the main site. That's about all you can do really.

Since I'm at work and not in front of my XBox right now I can't list the exact steps, but IIRC it's right on the main screen where you can resume/start new game/load game.  When I first started the game there was a link to log into my EA Account and redeem codes, and on the right of the screen was some instruction (I think press Y maybe?) about activating the cerberus network.

Sorry about being so vague, I did this all last night because I was so excited to play the game and because I didn't actually run into any of these problems that everyone seems to be hitting I didn't really think to look at the forums.

Wise man. Truth be told, if you linked your persona to your Xbox Gamertag it might work itself out in the next day or so. I'm sure they're queued to hell and back. And as the week goes on the support lines will free up and the chat server won't get pegged. In the words of the sage: DON'T PANIC.

Any news on whether Zaeed is downloadable on the 360 yet? I'm still not seeing him on my DLC list. And before someone asks, yes my accounts are linked and I redeemed the code. I was able to get the preorder DLC and the crash site fine but Zaeed is still missing.

Most people are probably in the same boat I'm in: They didn't realize that at some point in history, they've linked their gamertag to an old email address at EA.com. When you created a social account here, it automatically created a new ea.com account.   When you log in here with the new account and enter the codes, that content now belongs to the new account, but it can't be accessed on your 360 because your gamertag belongs to another account that has no record of the codes being redeemed.

It's impossible at this point to detach your gamertag from the old account and attach it to the new one using the interface on ea.com, so your only choice is to call them and sit on hold or log onto their chat site and sit on hold. Hopefully when someone gets on, they understand what the problem is and merge the two accounts.  I've been dropped from chat after three 30 minute waits, so I'm just resigning myself to using the Terminus Armor on my second playthrough. 

I'd like to add that going back and reading my posts on the subject this morning, I came off as quite an ass.  Frankly, it was 3 AM and I was running on no sleep and Red Bull, so a silly trivial thing like this really got me jacked up.  I'd like to apologize for that, and thank Michael Gamble for being on here to try and defuse what is (quite frankly) a really crummy situation that is arising out of this whole "Gamertag Pairing" deal that EA uses.  They need to add a migration tool to their UI like now.

So kudos to Mr. Gamble for taking all our crap in the wee hours of the morning, and everyone else just give it a day or two for EA's lines to cool off, then call or chat to get your accounts combined.  No sense in ruining all the enjoyment of this great game by fixating on one stupid piece or armor or a DLC character that -even if your Cerberus code worked- won't even be available for another 2 days.  I'm going home tonight and enjoying some delicious Mass Effect goodness, and not worrying about the dumb armor that I probably wouldn't use anyway.

I had the same problem a lot of you did: I activated my codes through my EA account email rather than my XBL email. I called EA, after waiting on the phone for over an hour, the agent managed to link my accounts and fixed the problem. If you don't mind waiting, this will work for the rest of you as well. Took about 2 minutes total. Good luck.

Would it be soo hard for them have a feature where you can delete a persona? Think of how happy people would be if they could delete the persona off one account and then link it to the one they want it on.

how do i call them i keep having to live chat and i wait in que and then it cancels
