I typed it in on my account on EA with my email address of my new account but i remembered i had an old account but it had wrong email... do i still have to link it cuz it wont work?

well, just waited and hour an a half in live chat . got to position 1 in the que and they canceled it. **** ea and bioware i'm taking this bull**** game back to the store tomorrow.

The problem is my gamertag is linked to another ea account that I wasnt aware of, so I have 2 accounts, one linked to the bioware social site that does not have my gamertag and the other that I wasnt aware of that has my gamertag attached to it but is not connected to the bioware social site and which also is the one that mass effect 2 loaded into. Now its just a matter of waiting on ea support to pick up and help me....

My Cerebus card seems to have worked when I entered it on my Xbox 360, my problem is with the code for the Collector Armour and assault rifle as well as my Gamestop download code. They both come up as invalid.

Why the hell does EA have to make everything so difficult? Would it really be that HARD to just let us enter the codes from the marketplace? I understand that they're trying to balance both of the PC and 360 versions by using the account but this is becoming too much of a hassle. I wasted an additional 5$ for this and I'll be damned if EA doesn't give me what they should.

The solution for anyone who has not redeemed their Cerberus code yet is quite simple: Boot the game in your 360, and it will prompt you for the code. Enter it, and you're good to go.



For anyone that's already redeemed it and struggling with the ea.com issue, thus won't work. For those of you wonderig what on earth to do when it comes time to redeem the code, just do it when the game boots and you don't have to worry about all this.

Oh yeah and another thing, I wish they would have told 360 users that the Cerberus activation code would appear IN-GAME. I went through all this trouble to do it online at a site and it screws up, when all along I could've simply started the game up and activated it that way. Thanks a lot.

I know i used the right accounts. I'm logged in with my normal email, and it shows the correct (and my only) xbox live gamertag linked. I got the cerberus network to work, and even downloaded the terminus armor and weapon, however i have yet to figure out how to get it. The card from gamestop says you just have to access your private terminal, and it says in parens that it's next to the galaxy map. I've tried that one and the one in my private quarters, yet no dice.

Not the end of the world, but i am sorta frustrated because i stuck with gamestop to get it early, as well as get the blackstorm heavy weap. I could have gotten the CE from EA store as late as last week, but gamestop hasnt taken any pre orders for the CE since August (or so i was told by several different gamestop stores' employees)

Edit : Oh, for people getting invalid codes on the termnus armor (and probably the collector one) i had to put it in caps and add the dashes manually, then it worked for me, after trying once just lower case with no dashes, then adding the dashes. Caps + Dashes = win.

This stemming from the EA "personas" aka Gamertag Setup. You can't update your new email address from any edit screen so basically......There is no way to truly update your EA/BioWare/No DLC/Youarenotgetting1200ptsfromme/fun. Waiting patiently for some answers.

I entered my Cerberus Network code on the website as well as the Terminus armor/weapon. When I got ingame I saw "Downloadable Content" that had the armor and the map add-on or whatever it is. However I have no option to access a "Cerberus Network"...I only have "Start new game" and "Extras" am I suppose to have a Cerberus Network too? Also under my unlocks on the website it says Terminus armor twice and thats it. No Cerberus Network confirmation...i'm so confused...

IIRC there's different screens for redemption of DLC and for Cerberus even though they look the same from in game.

Had the same problem as most 360 have today. I called EA support and they fixed the issue and linked my Gamertag to my EA account.



Its faster online than on the phone I had both going and the chat was quicker.

support.ea.com/chat is the addy, you'll be put in a fairly fast line and should get it fixed.

Dunno if you need the dashes, I just entered mine using caps and it worked.

I did all of this and it's still saying it's not available to me.  What am I supposed to do now? I also redeemed my code for the collectors edition armor online and so that'll be screwed up now too I guess.

I am also having a problem with activating my cerberus network card as well as the card I received from gamestop. Does the email address I registered here have to be the same as my xbox live email? When I try to redeem the same codes in the game, it shows that it is registered to another account. I think I just need a new one or something.

The Cerebus Card can be activated via the Xbox. The Terminus Armor via the site. If your account and gamertag are linked it should 'see' the armor and add it to your download queue. That's about it. If it's not working try the chat or phone number of support. They'll fix the link for your account and that should fix it. Honestly, it's a bit weird I know, but it works.

And why the hell did I have to go through all this? Now I can't even connect to the damn Cerberus Network on my Xbox - it says the key's already been registered. Screw this - next time I'll rent it. No money for EA for screwing its customers like this. I'm not waiting for half-an-hour for a customer service after I just paid $60 bucks for a piece of plastic.
