I love the battle at Haven. Love it. Great music. Great fighting. (More healing would be nice but still fun!) Loved having the waves keep coming (just the right amount). If supply caches refreshed it would be nicer on harder difficulties but regen potions made it unnecessary for me. Having keeps come under assault at some point would have been really fun! Maybe from red templars or venatori. That would have been great.

Loved Emprise and taking on the red templars to gain the keep. That was fun. Really liked red templars as an enemy faction. More fun and interesting to fight than Venatori who felt like petty bandits with a mage.

Claiming keeps. The first was really fun. Good music if a bit quiet for some odd reason. Is this a bug? It starts well but fades. More of this would have been great! I love taking keeps. It feels like such a victory. If there was a keep in each location (except maybe Fallow Mire for logical reasons), it would have really felt like I was dominating the map, bolstering my forces in each location.

Taking adamant. Actually enjoyed this quite a bit.

Fallow Mire battle was fun. I actually liked going in the water to bring out the undead.

Loved Emerald Graves. Taking on giants - much fun! Great bears? Fun!

Dragons! More dragons please!  There are never enough dragons!!!

Like the fast action button shift but really want the wheel with more abilities and combos!!! Loved my tech and biotic explosion in ME and loved the combos in DAO - a must have in any BW game!

What did everyone else like and want or want more of?

I also think burrowing Darkspawn attacking skyhold would be a good one maybe leading to elven and dwarven ruins.

Yeah taking keeps is quite fun. I hope BW can incorporate soldiers in somehow like they had originally planned. And we can actually control their tactic instead of they do their thing and the "elite squad" do something else in Adamant.

Also balls. More balls please. With actual ball gowns.

-Dragons for sure.  But I wish someone would give me a reason to go kill them.  Other than I just want to for my own sake.

-Emprise du Lion yes.  Red Templars were exciting to kill.  So tough if you go level 12 or 13.

-The music is fantastic.  I wish they could have more bards in the game.  While I love the minstrel in Orlais, Haven, Skyhold It would be cool if there were other minstrels.  As well.  I know thats alot to ask for, and I appreciate what we received. Perhaps one of the most impressive aspects of the game imo.

-Rogues are actually fun to play for a change.  I love playing rogues in DnD, but haven't found too many games where playing a rogue was fun.  Except assassin creed, and maybe thief.  But rogues are done very well in this game.

-Standing over the cliffs of the storm coast, I spied the dragon duking it out with a giant, with the amazing job the designer did on those waves.

-NPC's personalities are hilarious. And yes I even love Vivienne she such a ****.

I loved the Ball.  I loved having to schmooze and play The Game and all the political stuff.  We can leave out the court approval timer, though.  I loved gaining court approval, just didn't want to lose that for being away.

Non-combat game mechanics like that are refreshing and a pleasure.

Best part was the interaction with Morrigan.  Sad to say, I cared more for her well-being, for the sake of my Warden, and their son, than I did for my Inquisitor or any of his companions.

Favorite part in the game is definitely Adamant Fortress. But that could be because I have a deep connection to wardens thanks to DAO.

i agree..

fight for the keeps is very fun..i hope they implement a system where enemies attack our keeps, so we have to defend it or pay with POWER to implement things like defenses, towers, soldiers, traps, etc

I think for now that would be the judging and sitting on throne.

Previous dragon ages it has been combat, but I can't feel that anymore after being unable to setup my preferences for rest of my pt.

Lets look at another option, we have allies why not use them like in DAO or the ME3 dlc, but with the options to play or watch.  For instance, darkspawn have taken you by surprise and you must save the keep. Cullen and a few team members take this on, while you find the source of ingress to slow them down.

After the battle Solus tells you about ancient elf burials he sensed from the darkspawn and Varric says that the artifacts found on the Darkspawn are ancient dwarven. The two have a discussion about how their cultures cooperated so well before the darkspawn.  Morrigan states no wonder this place radiates so much power, if Corypheus learns of this he will send his minions upon us.  She has a plan, as usual, and needs various team members to achieve both shielding items from Corypheus and learning more.

Bianca is needed to gain entry to many parts and Dagna for the enchanted items and also to help Solus and Morrigan make items as you learn more.

Here Lies the Abyss. I loved that mission from start to finish.

I think Grey Wardens are the coolest ever, so a mission all about them was fantastic from the start. Not to mention, I've never been so happy to not have made Alistair king! It really felt like a culmination of Origins and DA2.

The fighting in Adamant was about the perfect level of challenging. I had to carefully marshal my resources (and I only had 8 potion slots at the time!), and really strategize. But at no point did it feel too hard or beyond my capability.

And I don't care what people said about Origins, I loved the Fade level there and I loved it here. I want to replay the game at least 3 times so I can bring everyone through this level and see how they react. I also really, really liked the fight at the end. It was a desperate struggle, and I failed my first attempt. But I'm not even mad, because I was so sucked into the game.

I started Here Lies the Abyss around 10 pm, starting from the time you travel to Crestwood to meet Hawke's friend, and beelined the entire quest line. Which meant I ended up at the final fight around 4:30 in the morning. I was exhausted, but I had to know what happened next. And few fights were as satisfying as finally killing that monster.

And then The Choice. Sleep-deprived, bleary-eyed, but thrilled to have completed this level... and I get blindsided by the screen asking me to choose. My first reaction was shock, that the game went there. And then some profound respect for BioWare, for actually and truly going there. I agonized over that choice, and it's probably one of the best game choices I've ever had to make. It was brilliant, and I loved it.

I liked Cassandra, the twist about solas, and some of the duel dagger attacks. I would like more story and depth to characters....like say....DAO or DA2.

One of mine so far is Flemeth's reveal.  I know some in the Feedback section haven't gotten there yet, so I won't spoil it, but so far that was my #1 favorite part of the game.  It doesn't hurt that I have adored Flemeth since her first appearance.  :)

Most of the main storyline quests were truly suberb, all the small details hidden in maps (like tragic picnic remains) are just incredible, definitly love astranium minigame... And crafting awesome looking armor and weapons for companions is just fun.

Generally, I love this game. Just need new DLC for my Inquisitor Adaar to do....

Favorite part was when my amazingly good-looking femquisitor (I was actually really happy with her!), which was destined for some female on female romance, fell madly in love with Dorian because he's just ****** awesome. Then after much flirting and imagining inquisikids running around in the castle, I FOUND OUT SOMETHING I can't say in a spoiler-free environment, and I was genuinely PISSED OFF at him. Which was awesome of course.

What I liked and want more of?

The Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts quest. Would love more quests involving the grand game in future DLC and DA games. Replace click and search with branching dialogue and keep the variable outcomes.

Since I mention Halamshiral I'd actually like to see more of Orlais and Val Royeaux. One of the most interesting and important cultures of Thedas, would love to see more of everything from chevaliers to bards.

Also loved how picking a stance/tone seems to deepen your responses. Someone whose consistently devout has a very different experience than an atheistic or unsure character. Having various dialogue tones and responses there really helped make it enjoyable.

Judgments. Maybe because I like the non combat dialogue quests and decisions the most but I liked having a say in the fate of the prisoners. Would've liked more ramifications other than someone disapprovinf but as is its pretty great.

Crafting. One of the best parts of DAI.

Knight Enchanter. Yes this deserves specific recognition after sorely missing Origins Arcane Warrior. Love the way it was done and how its not simply a mage who can equip weapons and armor but really someone who fights up close using magic. Kept it distinct yet familiar.

I liked Cassandra, the twist about solas, and some of the duel dagger attacks. I would like more story and depth to characters....like say....DAO or DA2.

>_O...how was there more story to those characters when the characters in DA:I have more dialogue, more cutscenes, and more personal quests. I also thought DA:I had arguably the deepest cast in the entire series in terms of varying personalities and none of them being simple.  I could understand saying you like those companions more, but I think it's kind of objectively untrue to said there was more story to previous installments characters...the amount of companion dialogue in this game in comparison to DA2 especially is like 100 to 1.

Something I liked was adamant. Probably one of my favorite missions of any game all time.

The Dawn Will Come and then going to Skyhold. It was epic, beautiful, moving and it was one of if not the best cutscene sequence in a game I've ever seen.

Going into the Future / The Envy Demon - both those scenes were so good that it's sad that you have to sacrifice one in order to play the other!

The build up to the Battle at Haven and meeting the Elder One, and the aftermath. Everything about that arc was perfectly executed.

The Siege of Adamant and the Fade was a great arc, pitting familiar characters in an alien and hostile environment. Fear was an interesting and dangerous foe!

The game is easily at it's best during those moments.

my favorite parts were (in no particular order):

-taking the keeps and doing the minor quests to secure them resources (but then the wartable wanted me to do the exact same quests....)

-The envy demon mind-trip.

-the winter palace and all its political glory (I just want to be a bard D:)

- The silly judgements

-Haven battle and transition to skyhold. (I have some amazing screenshots from these)

-The whole elven lore slap we get.

-Solas, Cassandra, Vivienne and Cole were all pretty cool.

-Emerald graves was so cool

-Changing decorations was nice, but I wish my room had more use or like stuff to do there. I don't see much point buying furniture I like for it when I never see it.

I also like multiplayer a fair bit when its working (no lagging, crashing, getting stuck in infinite load screen, spells and potions randomly being unequipted when I enter a round, the inability to move bug, the times you have to jump to move anywhere because you're stuck in place lagging, ect ect.) It gets so chaotic at the end, especially when running public groups. Barrier is a lifesaver then rofl

The characters. Particularly Dorian. I wasn't sure I would like him and was not sold on the mustache but he is such a favorite character now, oh my god.

I was going to list quests but literally the entire main plot, I loved it, so much, all of it.

The Emerald Graves, they were gorgeous and there was so much to do, and the scenery on the Storm Coast.
