Okay, so I'm working on my 3rd(ish) playthrough. I've got one game at about 75% of the way done, one at about 50%, and I just started another this evening. I hadn't had any trouble with party banter pre-patch other than it taking quite a while for them to kick in. My second game was started post-patch and banter was heard more often.

My first file was a 2-Handed Warrior, my second an Archer. This evening I started a DW Rogue, and I'm getting no banter at all. I restarted the game, no banter. I deleted everything and reinstalled, downloaded and installed the patch, and started over once again as a DW Rogue, and still nothing. All 3 of my playthroughs have been Male Humans.

It's certainly not definitive evidence, but I'm curious what class/race others were playing when they experienced this issue. There's some discussion of it in the other thread, but many of the posts are being lost in the shuffle, and a search only shows a handful of results regarding DW Rogues.

You should come share you thoughts with the folks here.  They're a nice bunch.  :)

I heeded your advice. To add to the above, I just ran through as an archer, then switched to DW Rogue right before the Hinterlands, and still got no banter at all. Generally speaking as soon as I walk out of camp I get a conversation, but I let it sit for 15 minutes or so, fast-traveled back, took a rest in a tent, and waited another 10 minutes, still. Nothing.

I played through with a Human Male DW rogue with little (but not zero) banter. I would usually get a little banter when I began playing then somewhere along the play-session it would just stop happening. If I restarted the game it would be good again, but there was no way to tell when I was waiting for banter and when it had stopped being triggered entirely.

I had most banter in Storm Coast with Viv and Blackwall.
