While we're waiting for that last Hinterlands mosaic tile to show up, here's another collection quest I'd love some help with:

According to the wiki, these are most of the songs that count towards the total of 21 for Patron of the Arts. (I've supplemented the 18 there with The Girl in Red Crossing.) The ones in quotation marks (Tales #1-10) are those sung in the tavern, while the rest are simply lyrics found through codex entries and can't actually be heard in-game.

1. "Empress of Fire" (available from the tavern as early as Haven)

2. "Enchanters" (as 1)

3. "I Am The One" (as 1)

4. "Maker" (as 1)

5. "Nightingale's Eyes" (as 1 -- though perhaps you need to meet Leliana first?)

6. "Oh, Grey Warden" (from the tavern after acquiring Blackwall)

7. "Once We Were" (as 1)

8. "Rise" (as 1)

9. "Samson's Tale" (from the tavern after something plot-related, IIRC; perhaps siding with mages or templars?)

10. "Sera Was Never" (from the tavern after acquiring Sera)

11. (Tales #19) Andraste's Mabari (codex entry tacked to a wooden fence next to the stairs near the tavern at Haven)
12. (Tales #56) Hero in Every Port (Ballad of Nuggins) (codex entry in the house next to the Gull and Lantern tavern in Redcliffe)

13. (Tales #79) She of the Highwaymen Repents (codex entry tacked to the gallows in Val Royeaux)

14. (Tales #80) Shred of Blue (acquired along with a Grey Warden artifact for Blackwall in Hargrave Keep, at the end of the Fallow Mire)

15. (Tales #81) Skyhold Garden (codex entry after upgrading the garden in Skyhold)

16. (Tales #86) Take Back the Sky: A Tavern Cheer (acquired from Maryden, your tavern bard, but I think only after Skyhold)

17. (Tales #98) The Girl in Red Crossing (Chateau d'Onterre)

18. (Tales #109) The Silver Knight

19. (Tales #113?) The Storm Coast's Claim

I've never gotten The Storm Coast's Claim, so I can't say for sure if it should even be on this list, except that the wiki includes it. If anyone can direct me to it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As I have 20/21 songs registered, it seems I've stumbled across the last two missing from the list above, but they aren't jumping out at me in the codex. (Strangely, not all entries with lyrics count, e.g. the Songs to Elgar'nan, Falon'Din, and Sylaise.) If someone could let me know what they are, I'll update this post. Possible suspects: The Lost Temple of Dirthamen (#104) or Three Little Empresses (#115)? ETA: One website suggests that the Tyrdda Flying to Her Lover landmark in the SW of the Hinterlands should give a song lyric after it's been claimed. Perhaps claiming all the Tyrdda/Saga landmarks in the Hinterlands produces one song lyric?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The Storm Coast's Claim is located in Storm Coast: http://game-maps.com...Storm-Coast.asp(yellow dot on the map - table with book on the hill).

Where is The Silver Knight song?

Silver Knight is Calenhad Theirin? So this song must be around lake Calenhad? Crestwood?

Figured I would be kind enough to do a video and post it.  You'll find this out in the Exalted Plains.  Check out the link below for its precise location.

This is also tied to getting the unique one handed sword Evanura so the video is dual purpose.

Thanks for the tip about The Silver Knight, was just the one absent from my collection, and if I remember right  the Tyrdda landmarks count as a song too after you get all parts.

Thanks for the information about the locations of the songs!

You were correct, one of them is Three Little Empresses (#115), found on a note in the furnishing store in Val Royeaux (where you buy all the drapery, it's a note on the triple bunk bed).  The other song I have been unable to locate in the codex but I am quite sure it's the Bull's Chargers song from the tavern, which is unlocked via dialogue progression with The Iron Bull after reaching Skyhold.

I cant get the tavern lady to sing Oh Grey Warden even though I have Blackwall, is there another trigger to it?

The Bull's Chargers song does count for the collection, I remember it appearing when I unlocked that custcene

One Song is "Tyrdda Bright-Axe"

You get it after you discovered the 8 Tyrdda landmarks in the Hinterlands.

...now I think we have all 21.

Does anybody know, how you get Samson's Tale if you sided with the templars?

And yes; you get "Oh Grey Warden" if you go to Maryden after "Here Lies the Abyss" quest in Adamant and the Fade.

"The Storm Coast's Claim" is on a cliff near the long river.

Here is a link to a map. The song is where you find the yellow spot: [LINK]

I guess and the wiki confirms you can purchase it with a merchant in Val Royeaux (is the most south-eastern one, up the stairs, one of the merchantes in that place sells codex entries you missed during one-time places or mutually exclusive ones)

So I sided with the Templars and went to Val Royeaux to buy the song I missed. It did not count towards my songs in collections. I was missing that one and Oh Grey Warden and I am still 19/21 so seems yet another bug in this game ugh

I found out, the song "Skyhold garden" only counts if you take the herb garden.

Okay after going back through it appears I was mistaken. I was missing Storm Coasts Claim which DID count towards my song collection. Samsons Tale either was already counted since I sided with Templars or since I sided with Templars it does not count towards the set but Claim does. Either way it seems it was not a bug, just my mistake for not enough research I am now 20/21 and I know I am missing Oh Grey Warden.

I am currently on my second playthrough and I have been logging the songs as I find them. My quest counter is at 18 out of 21 at the moment and I have not yet completed Here Lies the Abyss which will give me Oh, Grey Warden. What I can say though is that during this playthrough both the Chargers drinking song at Skyhold and the song sung at the refugee camp after the destruction of Haven (The Dawn Will Come?) have both contributed to the count.

I am currently at work and don't have my list immediately to hand but I shall post it on here as soon as possible.

Also as an addendum during this playthrough I have sided with the Mages and the first time I entered Skyholds tavern unlocked Samson's Tale but in my first playthrough I went down the Templar route and then found the Samson's Tale codex entry at Val Royeaux but it didn't contribute to the song count.

I have now got home from work and as promised here is my list of songs for this collection that have counted so far during my second playthrough and where I found them. For context during this playthrough I sided with the mages at Redcliffe, allied with the Grey Wardens, reconciled Celene and Briala and selected the Mages Tower, Chantry Garden and Training Circle upgrades to Skyhold. I am yet to have another attempt at a Templar friendly playthrough in order to test this list for that set up. My first playthrough didn't like my purchasing Samson's Tale from Val Royeaux.

1. Andraste's Mabari - Haven, Notice attached to left hand pillar heading up steps from Seggrit's shop towards the Chantry. Available from first awakening in Haven

2. Empress of Fire - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

3. I am the One - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

4. Maker - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

5. Nightingale's Eyes - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

6. Rise - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

7. Once We Were - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

8. Enchanters - Haven's Tavern, Once Inquisition is formed

9. She of the Highwaymen Repents - Val Royeaux, first visit, attached to the gallows

10. Sera Was Never - Haven's Tavern, Sera recruited

11. Hero In Every Port (The Ballad of Nuggins) - Redcliffe village, house to the right of the tavern as you look at it (where you pick up the quest The Ballad of Lord  Woolsley)

12. The Dawn Will Come - Refugee Camp after destruction of Haven before reaching Skyhold (I think this is its title but I am uncertain)

13. Take Back the Sky:A Tavern Cheer - Skyhold Tavern, Scroll next to Maryden

14. Samson's Tale - Skyhold Tavern (I took the Mage path this playthrough. I cannot guarantee that this will count if you take the Templar path)

15. Shred of Blue - The Fallow Mire, Hargrave Keep, through door requiring Deft Hands, Fine Tools perk, collected as part of Memories of the Grey quest

16. Bull's Chargers Drinking Song - Skyhold, Have drinks with the Bull's Chargers

17. The Silver Knight - The Exalted Plains, Ville Montevelan, west of Triumph of the Light and south of Ville Montevelan landmarks, in ruins of pink walled building

18. The Girl in Red Crossing - The Emerald Graves, Chateau D'Onterre, Library, 1st book on right after stairs

19. Three Little Empresses - Val Royeaux, in furniture store, note attached to three decker bunk bed

20. The Storm Coast's Claim - Storm Coast, Long River, Due south of Small Grove Camp, Due east of Driftwood Margin Camp, Rocky outcropping overlooking river, Urn with arrows in close by

21. Oh, Grey Warden - Skyhold Tavern, Here Lies the Abyss completed

This is not necessarily the order you will discover them. This is just as I have come across them during this playthrough. I shall try to update it with the others as I find them/progress. Hope its helpful.

For all those who will take umbrage at this list or will say that I have counted some things that should not be on the list I checked the Quest Journal before and after I picked up any codex entries and had the quest selected as the active one at any time I thought I may hear one as ambient music so I could see the count increase. Also when it comes to the song at the camp after the exodus from Haven and before Skyhold, I had a save before the fight at Haven and a separate one after arriving at Skyhold and cross referenced the figures. I also noted down title and location the moment the quest count changed.

Hi. I wanna help with the updates:

The song after destroying Haven is not for the quest.

In the whole Game are 22 Songs for this Quest.

-One Song you missed is the "Garden of Skyhold" but you only get it if you choose the Herb Garden (it's laying on the water well in the garden; if you choose "Chantry Garden" you won't get it for the quest)

-The song "Samson's Tale" is for the quest if you choose the mages. On the Tmeplar site this song doesn't count for the quest.

-Another Song is "Oh, Grey Wardens" you get it after you complete the quest "here lies the abyss" and then you go near to bard Maryden.

- Next Song is "Tyrdda Bright-Axe". You get it after you discovered the 8 Tyrdda landmarks in the Hinterlands.

-Last Song is "The Storm Coast's Claim", you fnd it on a cliff south from the long river at the storm coast

Note: You cannot complete this quest if you choose the templar site and the chantry garden
