Ugh, when I see someone writing about entitlement in gaming my eyes roll back so hard I simply can't read anymore.
Anyway, the comments in this video are pretty spot on. Bioware romances have never been high quality, so it's best to take them as a comedy piece so they at least stay entertaining.
doesn't stop it from being true most of the time. That's the sad part, really.
And are they all really comedy romances? Morrigan and Zevran had a lot of serious undertones to their romances in Origins if you really analyze what is said, and Fenris had a fairly good romance in Dragon Age II. I fail to see how they are not high quality, unless you mean the sex scenes. The sex scenes though don't really equate romance I feel.
